Car kits with street motorcycles 1/24,25 scale
youpey replied to youpey's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I ordered the amt dirt bike. I'm going to see if I can get it to look like an on road bike -
I have been looking for a good street motorcycle in 1/24 or 25 scale. I am not looking for a performance bike like ninja or whatever but more like harley style bike. I bought the f150 kit with the harley in it but the harley I got is in bad shape like its warped and I cant get it to look good. It was too expensive to buy another to try again Is there any that are reasonable priced still available? It doesn't need to be a harley brand, just that style. Any help would be very appreciated

I used to love corvettes, but this is a hard pass. The split window vette was part of the design of the car, and this looks like a forced after thought

I love this. My mother had a 2001 explorer that the pump was louder than the engine. Joke here. If you're Italian into the kitchen, French in the bedroom, what are you in the bathroom? A: European

Cant find specific thread
youpey replied to youpey's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
That is it. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I for the life of me couldn't find it -
I dont know where to post this. Last week I found a thread of a completed Ford gt le mans. It looked like a diorama with pit guys and the front bumper off of the car. I looked for 2 hours yesterday and today to find it but I cant seem to find it anymore. I dont know who made the thread either, unfortunately. It's the current Ford gt Any help would be very appreciated

which Tamiya blue and red Ford GT
youpey replied to youpey's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Unfortunately I ordered paints yesterday. The reference picture I had must have been one of the newer ones where the colors were metallic. I ordered TS 95 and TS 51. Both to go overtop of mica silver. From my research that looked the closest to me. Thanks for the help. When the paint arrives, I will test it and post my opinion -
Hobby Lobby Summer 19 clearance
youpey replied to Mr. Metallic's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I went to 3 different HL within 35 minutes of my house. Only 1 had many models on clearance but all 3 had several of the prowler on clearance. -
Can anyone tell me which Tamiya TS Spray paint for the blue and which red is the most accurate for the Revell Ford GT Lemans?

Hobby Lobby Summer 19 clearance
youpey replied to Mr. Metallic's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
i got really lucky tonight. i went to the HL about 30 minutes from my house and i got the amt boat, the scout international and the fairlane. they had a lot more, but those were the ones i liked the most. the manager was there and i asked if they were on clearance and he checked his list and said yes. i got them for 7.49 each. none of them had the clearance sticker yet. they were working on it when i got there was well worth the trip. i really wanted that amt boat -
I love it. It does look like a Ferrari but there is nothing wrong with that

I typically wash the body with dish soap and water and wrap in paper towel until it dries. That helps a lot but I still have to check it from my work bench to the hallway where I paint. I typically dont have 100% dust free paint jobs but I can usually get it with just a spot or two of dust. I also put the model in a covered box when its drying to help from anything landing on it.

Have you checked your car lately?
youpey replied to SfanGoch's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I had an old car that I rarely drove. It sat for a whole summer and at the end of the summer I went to check it out and there was 2 bees nests in it. One in the outside mirror and the other under the lip of the trunk. I will never forget that because I almost got stung many times trying to clear it out -
Why isn't there anymore 2d SUV
youpey replied to youpey's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I dont think the older trucks like bronco and such were soccer mom cars. Most SUV now seems like off road is not really an option, but was in those older ones I mentioned -
Sadly I went from a 2016 mustang gt to a 2017 Ford fiesta. Company layoffs scared me into being more budget conscious. I wasn't one of the people laid off, but I realized that I needed to get myself in order in case something happens. It was painful to go from 400+ hp to like 100hp. my wallet is happier though

Other than the wrangler, why is there no 2 door SUV. There used to be several, bronco, blazer, ramcharger, explorer sport from US companies and they are all gone. I would love to have an old bronco where you can take the top off. It's just something I don't think I will ever be able to buy

My sister is getting married again and she lives many hours away. I book the hotel on Sunday and get a call Monday that they might not have the wedding party and they might just elope since almost nobody responded to her invites. I'm mad for her since people aren't responding, but I'm also mad because the hotel was non refundable

Isn't there rules that certain pieces of the car that has the vin need to be used in order to use that vin. I don't remember now but I used to watch a lot of car restore shows and I remember something like that was said
