  1. I bought both the Scavenger and the '75 Datsun PU just to build my own Flip Front Street Rod. Have not done it yet though.
  2. Yes, Them too. Not sure where the tooling for all of these are. I know Revell has the Sandman Buggy, but most of the rest are 'In the Wind'. Thanks for finding and sharing that link Jesse!
  3. Looks Good! Good Luck with the decals!
  4. Yes, Yes they should.
  5. Some Great Stuff this time on the list. The Aqua Rod Race Team, will kill collector prices, and probably sell very well. The Kenworth will sell like hotcakes, as it has been a very long time since the last issue. I wonder if the '29 Ford will be the MPC Ford in an AMT Box? I am curious to see what exactly is in the box for the MPC Datsun. Maybe all the stock wheels and Tires? And last but not least, How soon will we see Banana Splits Versions of the Amphicat. IIRC, you just need to paint them different colours, there aren't even any decals for them. Great Line up!
  6. I love it! I like the Top Down Version even better!
  7. Not to drag this too far off track, but Lindberg boxed this kit twice.
  8. You have it wrong, my friend. I agree 100% with the rest of your rant, and applaud what you have to say. You make some good points. My 26 yr old son paints fantasy miniatures for D&D, and dabbles in building the occasional model, so I see where many young folks are today. But, I'm almost 60. All of the AMT Trophy Series Kit are of cars that existed before I was born. By the criteria you espouse for your sons interest, I should only Like 1978-1985 cars. I don't really like those much. My favorite kits? The AMT Trophy Kits. But, I built Tuners for a while too. Those kits are seldom seen today. Too Old? Outta Style? I don't know. I just know they don't seem to generate interest or sales........ Round2's whole Business Model is catering to those Stubborn, Selfish Modelers you look down on. Yet, oddly enough, that same company is tooling up to Brand New Kits of Brand New Cars! The New Ford Bronco, & The Brand New Dodge Charger. So, I guess there is no point in what Round2 is doing......? Modeling is changing. The Builders are changing. The world around the Builders is changing. So, what they like us changing. But, That doesn't mean your son, or other sons will never like or build these kits. It just means that they are not interested in them now. Thanks
  9. It looks like Randy B's kit did not have this issue, so I think it is a production problem. Do what Steve G. recommends. Round2 may not even be aware that this has happened.
  10. You said it! Those were great paints too, and they have never been replaced.
  11. Pactra "Hot Rod Primer" is a colour I miss to this day. Perfect for Tires, Trim, and so many other things. When Pactra went away, there was some bilge from the company that bought them (Testors??) that they would bring out a similar colour. It never happened as far as I recall.
  12. Tim's pics don't show that hood fit issue. Maybe see if Round2 will send you a replacement hood?
  13. A bunch, but worth every Penny!!
  14. Thanks, I had not noticed that. Now I'll have to check Mine. Might be worth looking at Tim Boyds coverage of these kits. https://public.fotki.com/funman1712/first-look-at-all-n/first-detailed-look-4/first-detailed-look/ https://public.fotki.com/funman1712/first-look-at-all-n/first-look-amt-roun-3/first-look-amt-roun/ Both the Vert and the Hardtop are there.
  15. Wow, what fantastic detail work! I like the underhood detailing and the way you captured the grease on the 5th wheel. Simply Awesome replica.
  16. Awesome Work. That looks like something that would have been seen around here 80 years ago.
  17. Beautiful Build. Looks vintage.
  18. Amen to that, Brother Mike! I have over 30 started. But, I am actually working on them again, for the first time in a few years, so I'll be completing some this year.
  19. Fabulous! I like the Colour and the stance! And, I see all the lights stayed on.
  20. Great! Glad to see it finished.
  21. Well, I found the Decals! I'll be getting a set, next payday! https://www.ebay.com/itm/314083837874?hash=item4920db07b2:g:g7QAAOSwC2Fi3YX5
  22. Fabulous Work! Looks great!
  23. What a great little Slump Buster! The Wheel/Tire choice is inspired! Is that a scratch built Rajo Head? I like the Aux Trans too. A Black over Red Rod always stands out. Just a Fantastic Rod!
  24. Another Police Rig! I am always interested to see those. What kind of wheels will it have?
