Mighty fine looking '56, great choice of colors and wheels. My first car was a '56 Chevy 150 6/3 that I paid $100 for. The '56 is my favorite Tri-Five.

Some really nice pictures of the way drag racing used to be. Love that T altered and the Jeep pickup in the background of the first picture of it.

Very nice looking Gasser. Really like the flares around the rear wheel wells, adds a touch of completion to the build.

Will be going in Tuesday (Nov 29th) for a total right knee replacement. Once released from the hospital I will be in an in-patient rehab facility for a short time, at least I hope for a short time, probably ten days to two weeks. I will not have access to a computer. Have been putting this off as long as I could stand it and the shots worked, but they are now lasting a few days and the pain returns, so it is time to go under the knife. Had the left one done back in '13 so I am not unfamiliar with what to expect.

Very cool camping rig, should be fun to travel around in. Like the yellow paint.

Although it is beyond my realm of modeling, I am intrigued by the craftsmanship that some put into a model. I am simply amazed by the work you are doing with this rail. Although I might suggest you find another block, looks like a couple of pistons have exited that one (groan).

Well, you beat me to it. I have been collecting very much the same kits and some other pieces to build one similar. Just hope when I get to mine it will look as good as yours. You did some excellent work on this build.

Hmmm, an 'itsy, bitsy teenie-weenie yellow polka-dot bikini', you should write a song about that - wait there already is one. When I saw that second set of pictures, that song is the first thing that popped into my mind. Very nice work on these models; looking forward to more of them.

That is definitely one beautiful Gasser, and as the others have said the paint job is outstanding. Of course, you got my attention with the '56. My first car was a '56 150 model (6 cyl and 3 on the tree), paid $100 for it. To me the '56 is the prettiest of the tri-fives. Thanks for sharing this beautiful machine.

Really sweet Deuce. Might want to change those rear slicks to 10.50's, not sure if the 8.20's will hold that mighty SOHC. Simple, understated, vicious machine; got to love it.

Looks the part of a real Jr. Stocker, one of my favorite genres of drag cars. Very nice, clean overall build.

Some might fine looking Mercurys, I think the yellow and white '64 is my favorite.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but this thing rally hurts my eyes.

If you don't mind the expense, you could take the model to a paint dealer. Some of them have the ability to scan the paint and come up with a color to match. I took a chip of house paint into my local home improvement store and they were able to match it.

If I remember correctly the '25 T Double kit has a very good representation of a quick-change and there is an acceptable image of one in the Revell T Roadster kit. Kind of a late post since you have already resin cast your own scratch-built unit, which by the way is a very nice-looking unit.

My issue came in yesterday's mail. Have only had time to glance through it but did recognize one build from the KC show. I watched it come together on another forum; the dirt track car by Tom Birky on the top of page 47.

That is one fine looking 58 Gasser. Many people overlook these full-size cars, but they are used quite often. This '61 was at the Southeast Gassers show last year. There was a '58 there this year (didn't take my camera) but he won the B/Gas class.
