Amazing workmanship! LOVE the weathering. Worthy of display in a museum. -
1950 (or so) Chevrolet Panel Truck
89AKurt replied to 1st 700 Quad's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I said that in 1995, finished the 1948* Chevrolet Canopy Express March 2020. ? The original resin caster had something happen (I'll just say not good), nice to see it's available again. The interior part is hardly accurate, it's just the box floor with a quick extension, the tubs are totally inaccurate. -

They seem to show everything that was ever made. That Panel is what I got years ago for my Canopy Express. So good luck finding one. -

I have that kit! I thought they were limited production, based on prices, probably paid more than I should have. Now I *need to* look for the Hobby Design parts. ? Look forward to seeing how this goes together. -
Thank you for the support! Thank you. I see you sell Fireball products, so I'm looking forward to using what I got. Will see, if I can pull it off. Not that much room for the V12, unless it's sideways. I was surprised about the engine too when I did research. Not bad for a motorized toy. ? I temporarily did goop to the body, just to mock up. Thank you very much for the instructions, printed out. Also thanks for the pictures. I don't do boring what everyone else builds. ? I was not planning to use it, PM me your address. The Jetbag rack will be used instead. Pull up a comfy couch, you might be taking naps waiting. ? ? No progress, other than getting parts, will take a picture of them as a group. So far, Scale Motorsport 4-point seatbelts and Leopard decals, USCP photo-etch hood pins, Fireball Motorworks LED lights and farm jack.

Thank you for the information. I have a set of the KA wheels. Wish Fujimi would produce their tires for the aftermarket.

Nice looking model, well done! Better looking kit than the Revell.

Digging this! I recently got Singer style headlights from Spot Model, just because of this topic. -
I haven't been in the mood to build, but have been getting things to complete previous acquisitions. Ordered directly from Ukrainian Scale Cars Production (USCP), sent Oct. 7, received today (11/5), so almost a month. I recently got a package from Spot Model (Spain) in 8 days! I got their engine kit awhile ago, then the door panels and wheels came out. Got the hood pins too, good for rally cars and my latest WIP. Who gets excited about a box? ? Nice packaging. Pirelli Cinturato tread pattern looks good. Think I have everything now. Better not be any more new products! (skipped their seats)

Friend linked me to this thread...... I never knew about this brand or subject. Nice job on your collection. -
Ordered Fireball Motorworks farm jack and LED lights for the Hellcheetah project. The 3D printed jack is really nice! This is one of those kits, when it came out, said that I'll order when in the mood. Well, several months later, I saw one in town, so I was jonesing to get the kit. Now most sources show out-of-stock, eBay prices are ridiculous plus ridiculous shipping. Thought I should check out a favorite online store, they had several in stock, so pulled the trigger. Shipping was a little expensive, but when I got it in 8 days (email said 15-30 days), I was shocked! I got the photo-etch awhile ago (lots of that on eBay), and the 'forged carbon' decals too in another feeding frenzy. Also splurged on Singer Porsche headlights, and some other light lens. Okay, not buying any more models! right

Welcome the the forum! Nice to see another one of these kits get built. What are the wheels, and did the tires come with them? Bummer the back-up light lens is missing. I like the license plate, even though it's CA (inside joke with Arizona people). I built this kit too, we are lucky to have one.
