Yeah, get back on it! ? I need to glean some ideas from You and Mark and James too.?

That turned out great. At first glance I thought that was a photo of clouds in the background, but it’s just white posterboard. Now if it was me building this I would have to do some snowplow damage to those concrete barriers….but I guess you don’t need to worry about that eh Steve?.?

Lookin’ good!?

Nice looking Coupe!?

It depends on the air pressure and paint consistency mostly. I frequently use a .030” nozzle on my Paasche H, but if I can’t get a nice wet coat I will move up to the .050” nozzle. It will definitely work for bodies.

Best way to apply a black wash?
NOBLNG replied to Brandon Miller's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
I have limited experience doing this, but I would just take some water based paint, thin it down real good and lightly brush it on. You can wash it off if it doesn’t look good. I know you can buy powdered washes, but have never tried any myself. You could search for videos on YT also. -
I’m sorry that there are so many irresponsible riders in your area. My wife and I have electric bikes. They are limited to 32 kph or 20 mph. Any faster and they are considered a scooter I believe and must be licensed and insured. That said, a lot of them can be built or modified to go much faster. Now I will admit that although it is illegal, I ride on the sidewalks a lot. I don’t trust most motorists with my life. Most of the time the sidewalks here are devoid of pedestrians (unlike New York I imagine). We don’t ride the sidewalks in downtown or busy areas period. We give pedestrians the right of way and a wide birth when possible. We both have bells on our bikes so that we can alert folks to our presence. It’s all about respect for others.

Yes, looking pretty good! I like that yellow.?

Very interesting and ambitious project!?

I haven’t done any wiring beyond plug wires and a few battery cables, so I’m no expert either. I did buy this 28 guage stuff at Michaels for such things….but haven’t used it yet.

That looks great Steve. You might need some of those little concrete limiting barriers to keep the cars off the grass.?

What Do You Use To Replicate Chrome Trim

I am a BMF fan as well. A brand new hobby blade should only need the weight of the knife to cut the foil. You can hold the knife at a very low angle where possible to get a smooth straight line. The green stuff looks very nice, but it has the same application issues as Molotow does. -
That is the part that creates the biggest backlash to the whole idea. If the sell was approached differently, there wouldn’t be as much resistance. ICE vehicles CANNOT be replaced entirely, especially for commercial uses. There are plenty of city dwellers who never drive more than a few miles at a time that would be ideal owners for EV’s. Incentives for them to convert would be worthwhile. Also incentives for carpooling could be increased….it’s amazing how many vehicles, including large gas guzzlers, you see with only one person in them.

That is looking real nice!?

Are you wanting a brand new vehicle, or a slightly used one or a project that you can build up? -

Another thing on this kit that grabs my eyes are the seats. They have squared off corners and are not the correct shape.? They must be a very limited production, since it’s pretty hard to find a good pic of this version with the single embossed stripe down the centre. A little work with a file and sanding sticks and they look much better I think.? I’ve lost the welting detail, but the shape is closer to what it should be.?♂️ The kit pieces look like they upholstered a plywood box with no padding.?
