  1. Nice work Craig! ? Thanks for the detailed how-to on the suspension modifications. That front one will definitely come in handy on a future build.?
  2. Roger makes everything look so easy.? You could do a side by side test of each profile on a scrap body or a flat piece of styrene. Try foiling them both too to see which works and looks better.
  3. I use something similar, and they work great. They do have three versions depending on how thick your glue is, but I only use the ones for thin glue. I also made some glue wells from some thick plastic that will hold a few drops of glue that I can dip into. Edit: I actually never read these instructions until just now when I took the photo. I’ve been dipping it deeper than the instructions say and it works for me.?‍♂️
  4. Thank You Guys! Jeep has certainly made an impression around the world!?
  5. Very nicely done Bob!?
  6. You could try some clear packaging plastic first to get an idea of whether or not a flat piece will conform to the shape needed. Even thin plain white styrene if you already have it, or some stiff paper like a file folder would work.
  7. Both Very nicely done.?
  8. The two tone interior looks nice.?
  9. I hope they don’t have a hangover when they’re trying to unload that thing!?
  10. The airfix site doesn’t list a scale, but says the length is 18.9 cm. Which would be 7.44 inches. https://uk.airfix.com/products/quickbuild-bugatti-chiron-j6044
  11. What thickness are you after? If it’s thin enough, you may even be able to trim it with a good pair of scissors, or cut it off of a sheet.
  12. That is one sweet looking Rod!?
  13. It looks like you were a pretty talented 11 year old. Nice that it survived all these years. I wish I still had some of mine, but I think they didn’t last too long after I got my pellet gun.?
  14. Looks real nice in yellow John!?
  15. Good, It looks great in black!?
  16. Yes, it looks like the Geko GK-24 chassis (out of stock?) would be the best bet for 1/24 or 1/25 scale. You could add whatever body you like.? Likely what the guy in the video did? https://www.tiny4x4.com/
  17. But it’s got free shipping in the US.?? That one in the link is not 1/24 scale. It is almost 20” overall length.
  18. Another Beautiful Jeep! Really nicely done Charles!??
  19. Excellent little video! It reminds me of my 4-wheeling days in the Whiteshell area of the Canadian Shield…and the Dakota Territory Challenge.?
  20. Get some old usb cable, phone charger wire or similar. Strip the wires out and use the insulation. Google search: (site:modelcarsmag.com spark plug boots) will get a bunch of threads on the topic.
  21. Nice work on those Jonathan!? I owned two extended cab versions, and they were nice trucks.
  22. The wife has read some of the books quite a while ago but I haven’t. We just watched the series on Amazon and we both enjoyed it.?
  23. I scrounge stuff too. I have used candy bar foil for rear view mirrors.
  24. I probably drove first in a ‘61 or ‘63 Chevy cause I remember my Dad driving them. I took my test in his ‘68 Biscayne with a six and three in the tree. The driving tester came out to our town once a month and I was so disappointed on my first opportunity because the car had a burnt out tail light and the instructor wouldn’t take me.
