  1. Got the interiors done, with the exception of the Cobra roll bar which will be done after interior is set to the body. The Cobra was pretty easy, basically kit parts with addition of my own IP gauges and toggle switches, seat belts and fire extinguisher. The Tiger is a similar approach but also a substitution for the driver's seat as well as fabrication of a roll cage.
  2. Wow, that big old Ford really looks the part. The paint looks beautiful and the color right on. My friend, you have mastered brush painting. Looks smooth, the color is very rich and with just the right amount of gloss. I love the way you have set the stance low just like the 64's were. You're giving me the itch to tackle my 64 Ford. Not for now but I will definitely copy your stuff...again! This is a superb model of what may be my favorite sixties stock car. It looks so much like the real car.
  3. Looking really good...jumping to underclass for the rest
  4. Thanks guys. Next on the check list is fire extinguishers. My stock is empty so I decided to fabricate them.
  5. Beautiful build. I'm no expert but the colors look good to me.
  6. Thank you fellows. It was a fun project and after a long search I have finally found a photo set up that works without more than minor post processing.
  7. Entering the final phase. Some of the smaller components need to be improved or scratch built. Example: jack hooks, not present in the kit but needed for a racing Cobra. Made it with 2mm angles and 1.2 mm rod. A bit large in the end so will need to find ways to slim them down for my next Cobra build.
  8. This is a nice build Ray. I always saw beauty in the weirdness of the Europa. I'm sure quite a few of them were club raced.
  9. Awesome detailing and finishes. Looks full scale!
  10. The detailing of the 3D printed engine + your added components + your paint finishes...looks 1/1 scale!
  11. Congratulations Tim. An absolutely gorgeous replica of a brutally fast and scary race car! Top notch build
  12. Gorgeous, impeccable build. I love the color.
  13. Beautiful paint job. Gold is tricky and you nailed it. A very promising build.
  14. Thank you for the kind remark guys. I added the Future seal coat this morning and I am quite happy. On par with my Corvette GS which was my best result so far. Pic below is in my display cabinet under harsh (un diffused) LED lighting.
  15. Wow Randy, this is awesome stuff. Such detail! Just don't do the Maserati stunt on us and drag this on for years. The clock is ticking! ?
  16. First time this year I did not stop building to work on my handicap. My handicap sucks.... but then again it did on previous years when I focused on it! ?
  17. Kits requiring following instructions. This means this is something new and exciting. Give us a hint please?
  18. Bodies have been cleared, polished and decals are on. I only need to brush on a Future seal coat and they are done. Will let them dry for a few days while working on the final phase of the project, interiors.
  19. William (Bill?) You call it madness I call it beauty. I am always at awe when I see someone working on one of these MFH kits. Someday I'll need to try one (don't know if they're avail in Canada) Look forward looking at your #12 entry. My #1 Cobra entry will be a more basic styrene putty mashup!
  20. Looking great so far. a very interesting build to follow, thanks for sharing.
  21. Very very nice Tim. Roof texture is impressive. Your builds are always top notch and a model to follow (within the limits of our capabilities...)
  22. She's a beauty Bob. Beautiful detailing as always with your builds. What also impresses is the beautiful finishes, just the right level of gloss on the body and the weathering of bumpers/grilles. Really really nice!
  23. Hi David, I have not looked much into the diorama side of the forum since I finished mine. Coming back and looking at your work is always very inspiring. I love the work you are doing on the Rolls Royce. Someday if I take one of these on your work will be my reference.
