  1. Especially love the interior, very authentic Ky. clay and mud ground into the mats! Great exterior finish, just not rusty enough for a Ford of that vintage!? Under-hood is mighty clean, too! (I live in KY too, I know how dirty these things can get, quickly, in or out of the holler...) Well done model!
  2. That made a very nice looking model, may need to grab one of these. Front view is really nice. Well done!
  3. Nice looking truck, cool color combo!
  4. Good trade with Sam I Am, smooth and trouble-free. Recommend to anyone.
  5. If I may offer one detail correction; it looks like you sprayed your front inner fender red, leaving a soft edge at the bottom. That should be a definite hard line between the red and black. Thee 442 used red plastic inner fenders, as Oldsmobile was experimenting with them for weight reduction from steel inner fenders. These were the entire inner fender, also visible under the hood, and not to be confused with the plastic inner fender liners that Pontiac would use because...it looked cool? Many cars would soon be using plastic inner fenders up front, but in black only. By the way, only the 442 had the red, other Cutlass models were black.
  6. Could relocate tach to the hood, GTO fashion!
  7. Nah, gotta go with Casey on this one - that is some spray can touch-up on that rear end, I don't care if it only has 57 yards on the OD. I've seen plenty of this, even done some, in the body shops I've worked in. Look at the tire, you can clearly see. where they sprayed the rim and some of the tire, partially covering the brake dust on the tire. We loved Krylon Semi-flat Black because you couldn't tell if you got some on rubber; it made tires look new, could cover white letters or white walls, and was quick and convenient to touch up.
  8. That was great reference, thanks for posting!
  9. You could just carefully brush a layer or two of thin super glue around the wheel perimeter, letting it dry between coats, or hit it with accelerator to cure it instantly. The idea is not to glue the wheel in, but to build up the diameter a little bit to get a tighter friction fit.
  10. I'm liking the style of this Opel! Nice build.
  11. Same kit, different boxes, but a fun kit that builds up nicely!
  12. Very clean work so far, will be following!
  13. Hmm, I think I'd remove the B-pillar altogether; kinda like the notion of a wagon built around a 4-dr. hardtop body.
  14. Good info.
  15. Cool stuff; I'll look at any thread that says '55 Buick, no matter the scale! Nice work!
  16. ...and even more time just laying them out. Very symmetrical side to side, and mirror-imaged.
  17. This is just too cool! I love these things, but I gotta say the second bed pictured is my personal fave; just something in all those curves that make it look more crafted as opposed to just assembled from straight tubes and angles. I'd love to see more detail photos of that construction. Either way you go, this is going to be sweeeeet.
  18. Nice surgery happening here!
  19. Now that's an OLD car...
  20. You won't be disappointed, and you'll be using it years from now.
  21. Cool build!
