  1. You can really see the depth of the color in the paint. Great looking interior,.
  2. Great looking paint and color. I like the way you detailed the engine.
  3. I like the detail on the floor pan.
  4. The only question would be which one would be Higher Maintains ??
  5. I understand that the job market is pretty strong right now. Might consider looking around just to see what is out there.
  6. Very interesting. This would have been the exception to the rule of the time. I like seeing the children trying to see what Mom is doing.
  7. Looks like the original Tunnel Ram style manifold. This looks like the Eddie Meyer manifold.
  8. The ones I bought some time ago were a little bigger. Some time has passed, and I couldn't say what they are offering at this time. One thin g to remember is that their paints are often hotter than the Tamiya paints and I think a spoon test would be a good idea before painting your model. A good automotive type of primer is usually sufficient to protect the plastic.
  9. Should be a cool looking machine. Are you considering bobbing the rear fenders?
  10. Have you checked any of the suppliers listed here on the Forum?
  11. I have always had a thing about a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air two door with the post. This would have to be done in Sierra Gold and Adobe Beige since dreams are cheap. There are many others, but I can usually just build a model of what I want.
  12. I keep buying Alfredo sauce at the market and forget to get the Parmesan Cheese.
  13. I know many don't believe in Chiropractic Care but is something to consider. I injured my back in my twenties and it still acts up at times. I prefer a good adjustment to a fist full of pain relievers. Also a heating pad will go a long way to getting the back muscles to relax a little.
  14. Great looking paint finish and signage. IO like the basic work truck theme.
  15. The rusted Bug looks real crusty and I'm surprised the floor pan is still there. Very well done. The Off-Road Bug hits my hot button being a former Baja Bug owner. This is very realistic looking, and I remember seeing a few done in just this manor in the past.
  16. I like the era style of your build. Great looking paint job. The combining of the different drive line components make a very believable looking model.
  17. Turned out great looking. The fun thing when building a kit like this is just do it the way you want and don't worry about following any stinking instructions.
  18. Great looking group. I like the showroom style, but the '63 Ford makes a cool futuristic prototype.
  19. Thanks for the info. I'm unable to blow up the photo on my system. The reason I asked about the dealers name is that I think a few years ago the head of the National Auto Dealers Assoc. was named Tonkin and he was from the Portland area. I'm sure they would be related. Still wonder about the cars. This is something I like about old photos like this, thinking about what the circumstances were behind the photos.
  20. Great looking distressed paint finish.
  21. Beautiful looking build. I agree with you on the belly pan, this should be displayed parked on a mirror.
  22. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The trim all looks nice and cleanly done.
  23. Beautifully finished, and I enjoyed watching your build. All of the finishes throughout look great and the detailing on every step of the way offered a great learning experience.
  24. I like the wire wheels for the T-Bird. If you have a Revelle '58 Impala kit it had some optional knockoffs that may work.
  25. I'm impressed with your plastic surgery.
