  1. All three of these are beautifully done with different themes.
  2. That is a mean looking Firebird. I like the Road Racing appearance and stance. Beautiful looking paint.
  3. I have always wondered how those decals would look, and I like how it looks here. I like how you're doing your tail lights. You might think about trying to leave a small edge of the chrome showing around the red paint to represent the factory trim. The exterior color and the interior look very much like the OEM and the tops that GM offered from the factory were either in black or white.
  4. I would agree with Zippi on the rear tire placement. Another thing you might want to look at is the shape of the rear fender in relationship to the diameter of the rear tire. Think of the tire as an eye ball and the fenders as an arched eye brow. Not sure if that's the look you're wanting.
  5. I mis spoke, I meant we're done with the "Top Load Dryer" Thanks for catching that.
  6. I have used Tamiya gloss clear for as long as I can remember, zero problems.
  7. WE moved about 6 months ago and had to buy new appliances including a washer and dryer. My wife wanted a top load washer for some reason, we had never had one before. At the time appliances were in very short supply since the shut down and such. We got a set from LG from the local furniture store. We can't get a single load in the washer that doesn't sound like the thing is going to take out the wall in the laundry room. My wife has to stop the machine and redistribute the load several times before the thing will work and it doesn't seem to matter what size of a load she is washing. We're done with front load machines.
  8. I'm not familiar with this kit, but the body sure looks smooth. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Great detailing on the chassis and engine.

    40 Sedan Chop

Beautiful looking paint and finish. I liked how you chopped the top on this since it looks like that is the way it should have been.
  10. I like the Grimy look of the finish. Well thought out components and the finish all looks great. Should you look up in the rear-view mirror and saw this you know you should get out of the way.
  11. I like the fender flares and thank you for showing how that is done. A thought if you are doing the brake cooling ducts. The full bumpered Camaros have their turn signals mounted in the same area as the holes on the Dutchboys Camaros front fenders. Maybe cover with some sort of screen.
  12. Thank you to all those that have posted additional information on lighting. All very informative and important. I have learned a great deal from the information provided by everyone here.
  13. This may apply to mostly Kansas drivers, but I don't think we have a corner on this behavior. Drivers will run up on you and then sit in your "blind spot" and then speed up and pass you and then turn in front of you and then slow down. If you start to go around them to maintain your speed then they take off like they're in a race. They need to learn that the turn signals are to alert other drivers of what you intend to do, not what you have done. Should you be driving on a multi lane hiway and your speed isn't any faster than the traffic in the slow lane, you might be the problem. Speeding up to block cars interring the hiway is rude and dangerous. The advantage to Kansas drivers is that our license plates show what county your car is registered in and there does seem to be curtain driving styles depending on what county the driver is from. I have found this an aid when encountering these drivers on the hiway. I have no problem moving over to let someone going faster than I on the hiway. I admit to traveling 5 mph and up to 10 mph over the posted limit if traffic allows this safely. But 80 mph plus you're on your own in my mind. Most drivers seem to struggle to safely operate a motor vehicle at any speed.
  14. I agree with Tony, this guy puts on a show. I'm still laughing at the dialog and the way these cars crash is not a lot different than some Rally Racing I have seen in 1:1. The race track is very impressive as well.
  15. Bad drivers seem to be a universal problem. I find myself driving more and more in a defensive mood. You have to watch everyone around you, think of what the dumbest things that they may do and think about how you are going to evade their moves and stay safe.
  16. Great attention to detail. This would be a real monster rock crawler just a little hard to steer with the tight clearance between the body and the front tires. I like how you added the C-Cab body to the Jeep front end.
  17. Good looking body. This seems to fit the fenders of all the other kit body styles. Never was sure what Henry was thinking with the Victoria body style, turnk, no trunk ?
  18. Interesting subject and the paint work looks great. Nice clean looking trim and the Vinyl Roof.
  19. Looks like a good project. I know of a couple of Resin Cast Ranchero bodies out there but they seem to have the base side trim and yours has the nicer Fairlane trim.
  20. Sorry no pictures, but today was another Home Depot day as I needed screws and such for my basement project. They had a display as I walked in and the lights are now on sale for $19.95 for a single light. The distributer is listed on the box as Ontel from Fairfield, NJ. The box says "Beyond Bright". They list this as having 3500 Lumens and the same draw as a 40w bulb. This one has only one light in the box and the others did have two so this may not be any less expensive then the others I had mentioned.
  21. I picked up some great lighting for part of my work area the other day. I haven't seen anyone else mention this is why I bring it up. I got a couple of these replacement bulbs for the basemen. They replace a standard screw in bulb but have three small panels of LED lights that can be directionally adjusted. The amount of light is amazing and they stay cool as well. I got the first pair at CostCo while roaming the isles to see how much I could spend one day. They were around $37 and change for the pair. Then on a Home Depot run I saw another one for about the same money. To be sure they are different as the CostCo set are somewhat brighter than the Home Depot ones but either set would work just fine.
  22. That looks like a specially built cab. on a 1:1 Bronco. You might checkout Firebird Designs in the After Market Section here on the Forum. They offer some great upgrades for the Revell Broncho kits and all of their stuff seems to be top quality.
  23. You might contact LG with your problem. Depending on the age of the unit they may or may not be of any help.
  24. I guess looking at this and seeing what everyone had done with it I thought it was being reissued. My problem now is after looking at what others have done with it I now want one. Not enough to pay stupid money for it though.
  25. Never thought of building this when it was first released, but with the reissue coming soon I'll have to try this. .
