  1. Beautifully done. Putting a Hemi, any Hemi in a Jag is really unique let alone with a front mount Super Charger. I like how you did the interior and the extra paint detailing on the seats. Somehow the color looks better than if you had used a loud bright shade.
  2. I would certainly support any forth coming magazine. This has to be a monumental under taking and we should all hold nothing but positive thought that it will happen.
  3. Very clean looking build and the paint and colors look great.
  4. Beautifully done. This looks like something on the showroom floor in 1953. Great detailing and the paint colors are era perfect as is the finish.
  5. Same here. When I think of a Dodge Pickup kit this is what comes to my mind also.
  6. The reissue of the '64 Plymouth would be welcomed here.
  7. Turned out great. I have only one question, "Can you lend me your comb ?" I was a 77 Sunset Strip viewer long ago.
  8. Stopped at the HL in Overland Park yesterday and noticed a few holes in their model display area. I tried to read the label that they place on the shelf to see what was missing or maybe what was coming. I noticed they had a "D" written on the label. I went over to their clearance area and found a half a dozen ''39 /'40 Ford sedan kits and a '69 AMT Oldsmobile that came home with me. $7 and change with pad printed rwl tires, can't pass that up. I was going over to Shawnee anyway so I looked in there and they also had the Fords on mark down but in the model area. This looks like they are getting ready to rotate some stock so HL might be a good place to check out.
  9. Thank you for the links. These offer a wealth of knowledge for anyone wanting to do a 100 % showroom build. As you mentioned they left off the optional in dash Tach. Being an option it may be possible that they overlooked it for some reason.
  10. Great overall look and I like the wheels. Will this get a windshield or just a wind defector ?
  11. I think overall this is a very nice kit. I have built a few of the old AMT Chevelles years ago and while they were great in their time this is a vast improvement with the tooling we have today.
  12. Like what you have done with this so far. You mentioned the wheel and tire offset or wheel flairs. You might want to narrow the front track just a little to bring the edge of the tires just inside of the front fender opening, sort of match the rear setup. Having owned a Grand Prix GTP at one time I liked the Heads Up Display.
  13. I think they are inflating the MSRP on some of these kits. In most cases with the cars and pickups their MSRP is higher than the HL stores in this area. One example is the '61 Pontiac Catalina, which is of interest to me, can be purchased at $27 something at the local hobby shop with no discount. There're several others such as the Galaxie '48 Aerosedan that also can be purchased for far less locally. That said, if someone is living in an area that isn't serviced by a good hobby shop then this could be a good deal since you don't have to drive all over creation trying to find what your wanting.
  14. One nice thing about the rubber aero skirts on these trailers is that it reduces the amount of road splash sprayed on passenger cars driving alongside the truck on the highway.

Great idea. I'll have to remember that.

Looks like you added some Camaro parts to the front end. I like the Hardtop conversion, makes one wonder why GM didn't do that since it looks so natural.
  17. Great looking conversion on the body and I like the paint effects.
  18. I have to agree with you on the look, much better this way. Very clean looking build with a good looking interior. I like the full wheel Moon Discs, haven't seen those in a while.
  19. I would like to see these two in real life pull up to the light together. They both look great together. I admit to being prejudice in favor of the GTO.
  20. Definitely has the "look" and the finishes so far look great.
  21. We can always hope. I can think of a couple of MoPar Drag Teams using this in scale. I would also like to see some D-100 short beds for myself.
  22. Beautiful looking Mercedes. The subject is pretty special on its own, but the way you detailed every bit of it really looks great.
  23. Beautiful looking finish on this. I enjoyed following your build and all your efforts really paid off with the final appearance.

I agree with Misha, on your "skill set". The thing I like most is the understated color and overall look of your build. Very clean and well done in every way.
  25. To rich for my blood. I could buy a pretty nice home for that kind of money around here.
