89AKurt Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Not as successful as I hoped, only six completed this year. I had grand ambitious plans to finish more, but glad this many are on the shelf. 1948 Chevrolet Canopy Express Italeri: Ferrari 275 N.A.R.T. - Thomas Crown Affair AMT: Not '72 but '69 Chevy pickup THE GREEN BARGE 29 Window VW/Porsche Microbus Celexus 1937 AUTO UNION C type - Vanderbilt Cup Race by FPPMODELOS So I had 9 projects to finish, got only 5 done, but one snuck in which made it 6. Two qualified for Bring Out Your Dead. The Mercedes G666 BenutzerdefiniertHinterntretenJadgAktenvernichterGeländewagenLimousine will get done next year!
espo Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 I remember watch some of these coming together. The fine detailing and craftsmanship is amazing. The '48 Canopy Express still makes me smile to see it. The creativity of the VW Bus and how you recreated your own pickup. I guess I missed sports cars and the Auto Union builds Look forward to seeing what you have for 2021.
cobraman Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 All well done but my fav is the Auto Union.
Tom Geiger Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Six great models beats a dozen mediocre models any day! I enjoyed riding along as you built these, especially the Canopy, Green barge and VW!

I was going to post a 2021 Resolutions topic. 3 hours ago, Koellefornia Kid said: Cool builds with great details! Thank you! 2 hours ago, cobraman said: All well done but my fav is the Auto Union. Pete75 Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 Awesome stuff. My vote goes to the 275: I've never seen interior detailing done that well before! ??

StevenGuthmiller Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 Great line up Kurt! I remember seeing your burgundy Ferrari entered in the "Desert Scale Classic" online show in the factory stock category, and I remember thinking to myself that I really had my work cut out for me if I wanted to compete with that exceptional piece! Extremely well done Kurt!! Steve
stitchdup Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 Nice selection of styles, I failed to notice the shortened roof on the bus before. I think the celica is probably my fav though
curt raitz Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 Excellent builds Kurt, hope to see them in Phoenix, maybe!!!

VanSpence Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 That ferrari is over the top and your build thread was really something to follow. So much to learn and appreciate. Can only thank you over and over for sharing your process. That celica is a real beauty. I'd say you had a good 2020 with what you were able to complete and you are an inspiration to other builders such as myself.
David G. Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 I remember following your WIP on the 48 Chevy, an absolutely amazing amount of work and truly impressive engineering. Somehow I missed the build thread on the Ferrari and I'm blown away by the level and quality of detail on that one. They're all wonderfully done and each is amazing but those are the two that most stand out to me. David G.
