Got these last Saturday at Sharon PA show. The 64 parts will go under a resin wagon body. The 60 El Camino was a want, and ended up being built by an older gentleman who was well known in our area, and had an amazing personal museum of his work, and collection of models and toys. He passed I believe last year.

Is this a short wheelbase kit? If so I've been hunting for one as all the others (Revell) are long wheelbase.

Yes it is.

Surprisingly i found these on my local Facebook Marketplace over the last couple days, the 1/8 78'Vette is missing 3 wheels, but otherwise complete.?IMG_3129.thumb.JPG.f23cee1ab50110be9a60bffdfac1cff1.JPGIMG_3132.thumb.JPG.0bb2369b56450fda070dc63344a65946.JPG

I got the original 1967 issue Revell Miss Deal funny car (one of my favorite models since I saw the box art in a early 90's issue of SAE. It's complete but a few parts of the engine have been glued together.

Also got at on order from Scale Hobbyist:

Tamiya's Ferrari FXX

Gofer Racing/Revell Ford 427 engine (Yay, no having to strip the chrome off!)

Aoshima 1/24 16" Longchamp XR-4 wheels

Got these great resin 20 inch Snowflakes in the mail today! Finally, after buying the Jimmy Flintstone 06 Firebird piece in 06 I finally found some wheels that will fit and look good. Now for the easy part-Getting a set of the blue Pontiac "Chicken" decals for the build.

After a couple of weeks of haggling and back and forth conversations, I finally managed to get my grubby little mits on a resin gmc crew cab. Now to decide if I’m going to build it as a  2wd dually, crew shortbed, or massage it into a suburban! Or maybe a 4wd?? I’ll be poking it on the back burner for a little bit.

I’d like to make it it into a retro version of my shop truck.

Lol! Thanks Tom. I'd love to. But how do you think I ended up with so many started projects? ?  Someday soon.

That looks like a quality piece.  I'd build it using as many of the parts you got with it as possible.

I would see how low it would go with some Pro Street type tires filling the Dully fat fenders. This would be great looking which every way you build it, but you did ask for opinions.

You showed us some nice combinations of that GMC resin kit but the 4x4 picture jumped out at me. Besides, you live in Edmonton so I'm guessing a 4x4 comes in handy. LOL

I’m still not 100% sold on 4x4, if I go that route it will not be the lifted bro-dozer that is so often seen here. Ive never need a 4wd while living here in the city!

I’m not sold on the pro-street look.

This one jumped out at me. Definitely the way to go.

As an aside, I rarely use the four wheel drive on my trucks.

And we're neighbours. :)

I like the 4x4 version as well. I drive an F250 4x4 with a factory locker and rarely use either. But…..better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it! ? I mostly use 4wd to back up across the ruts in the back lane so that I can park beside my garage. The City does not plow back lanes unless impassable by the garbage and recycling trucks.?

Is that 4-door cab still available or is it an older resin piece? I like those trucks lifted & lowered.

I have a front wheel drive golf, there hasn’t been a time I’ve needed or wanted a 4wd, even with my old commute from Leduc to Sherwood Park.

Pretty sure it’s an older resin piece, I haven’t seen or heard of anyone producing it lately

Last additions to my stash:

Revell Jaguar XKSS (2nd edition) from an Austrian ebayer (have the 1st edition for decades) and

Italeri California Spider SWB (body missing) from a German ebayer - needed this to complete one of my resin bodies.

What Ferrari are you going to build?  I just got FPP's Ghia, but have other plans for the running gear.
