Monogram 1/24 Bugatti EB110 (I've never seen one built)

AMT 1/25 1957 Chevy Bel Air Proshop (the new one that came out in the late 90's) Got it from eBay, they said it was complete but it was missing the door handles of all parts.

Got my MPC 'USA-1' '74 Vega Pro Stock kit reissue today...haven't had a chance yet to compare it with the earlier Grumpy's Vega '72 release.

I seem to remember a review of the Grumpy's Vega and they said it was wrong in so many ways. I built the USA-1 Vega many many years ago but don't know if it was just as wrong as the Grumpy one. I do recall enjoying the kit though.

The chassis is quite primitive as is the engine, but they do have the newly tooled bodies.   Should make a good shelf model.  Much seems the same between both kits, differing in the body and trim (different year) and the decals...

Took the plunge, wanted to try this out. :)

Time to practice and make some wheels and stuff!

Which Elegoo printer is that? I impulse purchased a Creality Halot One a few months ago. One of the few impulse buys that I didn't immediately regret. I'm already looking to upgrade to a model with a bigger build plate.

I just got this sealed inside kit in a trade. I have to say that this is the first kit I've ever had that I am a bit afraid of. It may be well beyond my capabilities.

I hear you.  All the new exotic cars are super over designed, cool, but I sure don't wish to build them.  Saw a build on Fakebook, carbon-fiber decals over the whole thing, incredible.  I've reached my limit.

look at this grill [...]

I built that AMG a long time ago.  It's a sweet kit, other than the wheel/tire size is wrong, too small.  The tires have cracked too.

Got these 68 Chargers yesterday from a guy who wants me to build him one of them. Good thing that there are parts for two complete cars.

Also got the resin 69 Dart parts to build a drag version. Hood w/ scoop, dash with radio/heater delete, door panels without window rollers and rear arm rests, 3 sets of drag seats (2 sets with risers), and three oil pans. All for $10.

And some decals for $5.

Bought myself some presents yesterday- the AMT' 63 Nova wagon with trailer, the '64 Olds 442 hardtop, and the Meng 1/24th scale Ford G.T.

Yesterday I visited the last two hobby shops in the San Francisco bay area that still carry model car kits.  First, I went to Hobbies Unlimited in San Leandro and bought some Tamiya paint and Bare Metal Foil.  I then went to Sheldon's Hobbies in San Jose and bought Revell's Bronco half cab and Tamiya paint.  It has been 7 months since I have been to these hobby shops and I was surprised by how much the prices of new kits has gone up.

Where did you find the Pegasus aluminum sleeves? They are getting hard to find.

LHS had one left in the natural aluminum, but at least two each of the anodized blue and red sleeves. Not sure if people want those, though. ??

This arrived today, too. Was pleased with the first one I acquired, and found a second one for a reasonable amount:
