I picked up some more “tailgate” chains at Michaels.

Went to a toy show in Kalamazoo and got two wheel sets, a Tamiya Mini Cooper and a pair of Flintstone bodies. Then we went to a few hobby shops around the area and bought a couple bottles of paint and a La Ferrari  photoetch set. At the final hobby shop stop we caught a 10% off sale so I picked up an Italeri Porsche 911 Cabrio, a Revell BMW Z1 roadster and scored a NuNu McLaren MP4/2C and a BMW M8 GT3. This was the first time I'd seen NuNu kits in a hobby store in this area.

I don't know yet - I have 3 resin bodies (330 LMB/250GTO from UMi, 1964 GTO from Mini Exotics, 250 SWB Sperimentale from Tecnomodel) and the Carrera slotcarbody for the 250 SWB Breadvan) - all of these will be built curbside, and with this California Spider I can save one of my 250 GTO's for another project.

Also got me these from Swedish flee bay. Not always the best prices but lower than HS.

A good friend has had to give up the hobby due to some unfortunate nerve damage, he no longer is able to build. So he has started showing up and giving me some of his unbuilt kits. He has a rather largish collection, so I offered to resell some of his collection instead of being a selfish punt and taking all the kits for myself.

Got an old Revell motorcycle kit circa 1969 from a local auction house for a good  deal. Was complete and in decent shape too.

Have  not seen any of these kits around; similar ones on eBay are a fortune

HL had their 40% this week so I went there looking for a new pair of tweezers.  I saw this kit setting on the shelve and kinda liked it since it had the bigger tires.  So...it followed me home.

Yea prices is crazy on the bay, got this one for about the same as a new Tamiya kit which is a steal!

Took a trip out to Dollar Tree and bought all of this for just under $10. I figured it would be a good reminder that many of the less glamorous modeling tools can be found for cheap. Also wanted to see what all the fuss was about with Mod Podge.

Some 3D printed wheels and tyres plus brake disks which I've started painting.

I chose these as they have off road/ rally chunky tyres, all of the others had smooth racing tyres.
