Picked these two up today, think the Concord is going to be more of a VIP style build and will need to take a look at HobbyLink for their VIP accessories. Now, the Fury is going to be box stock other than rolling stock, May look at Pegasus for those.

Those are cool! I'd have to turn that Concord into a 2-door. B)

Ha! Cleaning up the garage today. Found these two still in the Hobby Lobby bag. Clearance sale back in December. $7.49 each but never made it into the house! Never missed them!

That was a nice surprise..

Local toy show day. Scored three glue bombs for $10--Monogram '70 Challenger TA, Monogram '64 GTO, AMT '57 Chevy. All are either rescue-able or have harvestable parts worth the price.

And then an old Monogram metal body MG-TC kit, which seems to be 100% complete and unstarted, for $20. This will be my first one of these.

Nice Snake. Must be a thing run upstate NY. But I never find kits or builds at the flea markets.

Decatur Indiana flea market which is held only once a month. I bought these from four different vendors. The '63 Galaxie friction promo $25.00, the 60 Ford 4 door promo $3.00, the '96 collectors corvette $3.00 and the '74 Cuda plus '88 Camaro $10.00 each

Hey Rick, if you ever consider trading(or?) that 63 Ford, let me know. I've been looking for one with that body style for over 20 years, to build a model of my 1st car.

I’ll be honest, that lowering and ditching that stupid looking tuner wing goes a long way on that Concord.

A 2dr as a lead sled style could be interesting and easy to do on these!

I've slowed down a lot this year on kit purchases, but these two arrived in the last week or so:

AMT 1970 Chevrolet Monto Carlo Lowrider kit

Been after one of these for a while. Not sure that I'll build it as a lowrider so the wheels etc will be handy for another project. Perhaps an early '80s street machine, or a resto mod?

1:24 Hasegawa 1987 Nissan Bluebird U12 kit

Happy to get this one at a decent price. Nice kit of an unexpected subject.

I picked up a couple of those Riv's probably at the same time at HL as you did Tom...  for me that Riv and also an on clearance 62 Electra were great buys for having lots of goodies for stuff I like to do.  Clearance for $7?   Ummmmm..... yes.

Was going to go to a show this weekend, but has a job interview run long (doesn't sound like I missed anything at the show), so I swung into my LHS since I was already in the same town.

I always thought those Fords was the best looking semi trucks.

Well Pat it looks to be two bodyshells at least, brilliant! I built a resin one a couple of years ago, as I couldn't find a plastic one!
