That’s like drinking non alcoholic beer. In fact, you might as well drink non alcoholic beer. LOLOLOL!!!

Hey, I like SPAM, and prunes dried plums too. I also don't like beer (but a fine Cognac is welcome) :D  We all have different tastes.

Give me a trailer full of Spam, a few chickens, and a small vegetable garden, and I'm good for the collapse of Western Civilization. ;)

I stopped by my local Dunkin Donuts shop early this morning on my way to work and while I was waiting in line with 5 others, a woman came in and went straight to the front of the line with a sense of entitlement attitude. The 6 of us and the D&D employee jumped her and she just stormed out. I hate people like her.

I hate people who think they're entitled. Glad you jumped on her sweet behind for skipping ahead of you. She deserved it.

You think that's bad? You should see how she drives!  :)

Have to go to an oral surgeon to have a cracked tooth pulled. My dentist declined to pull it, as he was afraid it might break off. He said the surgeon is better qualified to do the job…in case some bone needs to be removed to get at the root.?????

Ouch! I’m not looking forward to it. Hopefully he can get it out in one piece.? I have another tooth that may need to be surgically removed too.?

Well were on the subject of DD. I wanted a 1/2 dozen Boston cremes at the drive thru, She only had four so I ordered them. When I got to the window she hands me a bag with the 4 donuts stacked on top of each other. I refused to take them as they were sticking to each other because of the topping. She took them back and placed the same ruined donuts in a box. I still refused them and asked for my money back. Got my money and left, never going to that DD again. Emailed corporate office and complained: Crickets.

Yeah, and the one in question is a self-styled "strong, independent womyn" who thinks she knows everything and won't take advice from "any man", but after she's totally screwed the pooch doing things her way, comes alternately crying and screaming in blame-rage, wanting the same man whose advice she ignored to fix everything for her...all the while playing the helpless female victim act.

Idiot hypocrite, thy name is Womyn.

yeah, it's pretty special when an "empowered person" plays the "help me Obiwan" card.

Water coming out of my dashboard irked me today…turned out I’d omitted a drain plug when going through and cleaning them when I got this car, and of course the one I omitted was the one with 3” of water and rotten leaves in it.

Quick poke with a screwdriver and a blast through with some compressed air seemed to remedy the situation:

My hand smelled like swamp until I could find some decent hand cleaner in the shop at work ??

Is it me, or are more people now being too easily offended when none is intended and becoming way over sensitive?

Maybe, or maybe it's the belligerent, civility optional code of conduct that seems to be all the rage these days.

My 07 Mustang developed that dashboard leak in a heavy rainstorm one day. The cabin air filter receptacle drain got clogged up with pine needles and leaves, and overflowed through the filter into the ventilation fan blades then into the interior. What a mess. I know what you went through. It is pretty scary - I was worried it was a coolant leak at first and the fan made noise until it dried out.

Yep! That exact scenario!  I googled afterwards and discovered it’s a pretty common problem - ordered a new cabin filter which arrived today so I’ll let it all dry out properly for a coupla three days, give it another good cleaning to make sure I got all the goop out of there and then get it all reassembled.

By contrast, today’s biggest grievance was that one of my Potato Smilies wasn’t smiling, but I guess all things considered that didn’t ruin my day too much ?

I'd like to know what 5-year old designed the latches on ethernet cables.

Same kid that put them on all the telephone modular connectors. :)

Not really irked, but the entire province of Alberta is on fire.

Over 90 active wildfires with almost half considered out of control.

https://www.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/3ffcc2d0ef3e4e0999b0cf8b636defa3

No rain in weeks, hot temps, wind. Conditions have been perfect.

We even have ongoing news stories on CNN.

Looking outside, it looks like Blade Runner. Skies are smoky and hazy, sun is orange and entire sky looks orange. Very apocalyptic and dystopian.

Our air quality is worse than Beijing right now.

No fires in my immediate area, but I know a lot of people displaced and evacuated right now.

Being outside sucks right now. Ash falling on everything, breathing is tough, so walking the dog is tough. Lots of people have even been listening to the experts and are wearing masks when outside. Luckily, thanks to last few years, everyone has boxes of masks still.

Supposed to rain on Monday, so we'll see.

I think it was a different kid. Those seemed to last forever. The ones on ethernet cables seem to fail after relatively few cycles.
