  1. Nice job! IMC kits are fiddley, etc... but are some of my favourites. You did this one justice.
  2. Jeez, that makes me weep a little.
  3. Awesome! As much as I like Torinos I found these to be much more interesting. Great job!
  4. Oh, if it counts they used the kit as a slot car too.
  5. There was one issue boxed for Esci. Packed away so I grabbed a Google photo.
  6. Love it! One of my favourite JDM cars and the paint looks fantastic.
  7. Very cool! Hits all the right details for my favourite (late 50's/early 60's) era of rods and customs. Colour and body mods look great!
  8. Most excellent! Nice job! Would love to have Round 2 reissue this kit again with whatever mold inserts they can find for the various versions issued over the years. One my favourite Jeep kits and have quite a few (more is better, right?) Growing up I can remember lots of local service stations/garages having half cab Jeeps, most equipped with plows or plow mounts.
  9. This is just an observation, many guys in the club I belong to bemoaned the fact that Revell would come out with these when they were announced. Yet after they were released both the Eldorod and the pickup showed up on the display tables for months. Many being built by guys who generally only built replica stock. Almost all attested to the quality of the kit despite some of the windshield post issues with the Eldorod.
  10. Excellent!!
  11. The R/C side is ok. I've also run out of local places to shop for my R/C fix. The Hobby Town store that is close has crazy prices on most of their stuff even with club discounts etc... That only brings the price's to just above MSRP and not even close to street prices that are normally charged for many items. I'd rather shop locally but can't justify it. At least my LHS (Model Empire) has models that are competitively priced but they don't carry any radio control products.
  12. I gave a quick watch of HPIguy's YouTube review and it seems all the custom goodies are there, just not called out on the instructions. The main difference other than the camper and construction accessories are the slicks have been replaced with the all terrain tires for the rears with the addition of a set of chrome reverse wheels.
  13. Nice job, very cool!
  14. Thanks for sharing, always liked this car. I've got an old kit the manufacturer escapes me but was very simple (motorized) with fender flares and aftermarket wheels/tires. Nice to see a stock one.
  15. The Rodders Journal had an interesting story of the car. Apparently the stock opening was moved up and modified in the fender to clear larger tires.
  16. Looks great! Nice to see an original built considering the availability of the Revell kit. Despite the current crop of far more accurate Revell Deuce's there's just something about those ancient AMT kits. You nailed it with this one. The original body wasn't sectioned, stock but channeled over the supplied chassis with a shallow custom interior. There were custom panels that were attached to lower body that gave the appearance of a sectioning. In the original issue the body has tiny locating pins on the body sides that disappeared in the only reissue as a full fendered Street rod.
  17. Very cool, thanks for sharing and for the Concourse of America.
  18. Nice job! Picked one up too, not a scale I usually build, but like P47's Might have to do something with the prop, seems a little chunky to me.
  19. Ha! Love it, don't let an old body get in the way of a young thinking mind.
  20. Very cool, like the colour choice too. Very period.
  21. Very cool take on that kit. Did you use anything other than the kit supplied decals. Looking for an excuse to pull the trigger on one since I have so many 49's already.
  22. Very impressive, always liked that era of Lincolns and I rarely have seen them built.
  23. As been stated numerous times, awesome paint work!
