Right hand drive ?
ChrisBcritter replied to Jon Haigwood's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
IIRC, the '57, '58 and '59 Ford Utes were all based on the '55 Ford body with Canadian Meteor grilles (thus getting the nickname "Star Fords"). -

Is anyone from the Denver area going to the Rocky Mountain Hobby Expo? It runs through the 28th, but Thursday and Friday are trade-only; so even if there was an announcement today we may not find out until some of our intrepid members get there Saturday.

After what happened with his Mustang, I can hardly wait to see the Knoxvegas Lowballers' inevitable 24 Hours of LeMons response! -
What Kits Were Molded in Green?
ChrisBcritter replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Chris, I got that same tree in a parts bag from Model Empire along with another tree that has a base, some rocket exhausts, and a radar dish; I did some Googling and it turns out we have trees from the Polar Lights 1/1000 scale Star Trek USS Enterprise! So far I've made use of one of the antennae - carved it down to make an ignition coil for my '64 Cadillac . -

Per Drastic Plastic's Fotki site, no. However, maybe the base for the Power Ram manifold could be modified to hold an injector setup? '66: '67: -

Cadillac Interceptor in acton
ChrisBcritter replied to Richard Bartrop's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Another version, enlarged and enhanced: Note that at some point the Interceptor gained a one-piece windshield. Any guesses as to the three words on the front bulkhead? Looks like "----- to radiator"? -
SOME CURRENT ROUND 2 INFO TODAY...
ChrisBcritter replied to AC Norton's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
The '59 Imperial is a welcome return! Maybe now MCG will step up to the plate with the photo-etch set it so richly deserves. The kit does have some minor fit issues with the roof and front bumper (that needs some trimming under the hood and mating surfaces to get it to snug up to the body). Someone could cast the taillights in clear red resin for it too. Paul Hettick mastered a four-door sedan body conversion for it. -

They don''t have the "eyebrow" shape at the top, either - maybe better to find a set from the newer Revellogram '55? -
