The side windows have to go. For the windshield, either replace with sheet plastic or use expoxy and hold it in with clothes pins. I don't think all my older Pantera kits have glass this bad.

Is that a Palmer? If so it barely counts. ?

I use Novus or the Tamiya polishing compound but if it works why not. Not sure I would trust it on paint though. -
Great color choice and build. Nice to see one that is not red or blue.

Don't blame you at all. I look at the other one about four times a year when I cannot sleep so I'm sure to doze off. ? -
Looks nice Gary. Don't hold your breath on the Sunoco Camaro. I'd love to see any T/A series cars from the 69/71 seasons in 1/24 scale but they see to just want to push 1/18 incorrect ones onto unsuspecting buyers.

Agree 100%. Any why has a 67/68 convertible never been done.

Depending on the base coat it may be lighter. I always thought it was a little odd Ford choose black decals on a dark blue car.

B-17 Crash and fire at Conn. airport today...

Very sad news. My father flew 30 missions in WWII in several different B-17s and I was lucky enough to ride in this very plane six years ago right around this time of year over Gettysburg PA. I've got some videos on Youtube of the flight under Mach72man. -
I like the contrast of the white interior with the red. Don't beat yourself up too much. Any model built factory stock requires a lot of research and I take stuff for granted and when I look at good reference material there is always some things I miss. I've yet to build this kit but need to add this the other Mustangs in my corral. I painted this one a really long time ago (using the Mach1 kit) so you can see I have not finished the black areas either (including the trunk area).

Well said Mike. Norm is a straight up guy and takes care for his customers. Sure going ta awebsite and making some clicks would be more efficient but the work that goes into keeping a website up to date (and the cost) and paying someone isn't wroth it to many of the 65+ generation. My mother has never owed a computer, ipad, cellphone and therefore does not have email or texting. Somehow she gets through life even thought the rest of us would find it impossible. -
Well -it is a Camaro. ?. There are some 67 Mustang out there that are pretty bad too. I think Motorworks is the brand. You are better off trying to catch a deal on older Frankin or Danbury mint ones. I bought about three dozen DM and FM cars in an online local auction in lots of 12 at an average of $20 a car. ?. This was at least five years ago so I'm not sure if prices have gone back up since they've been discontinued.

Yes, there was an Escort with your name on it. -
About 75% done but here's 007's ride in Diamonds are Forever as of today. Still need an engine, exhaust, Mach1 decals (no stripes or blacked out hood) and I'll need to adjust the wheelbase a little as I used those darn thick metal axles. This was a glue bomb rescue AMT kit. Last picture shows fron wheels moved forward. I may switch up the wheels, these are the ones from the MPC kit and they are pretty deep. Just noticed the interior is red and not black. No worries, I have plenty of spare ones. Guess this is going to take longer than I thought.

Not what everyone would expect when they hear Mach1 but here's may take on the little jewel as Mr. Iacocca called the 2nd generation Mustang that out sold the previous three years by a landslide. THANKS Mldbldr for many parts supplied for the build.

I'm 98% done with this one. I'll add some side mirrors that did not come with the kit and the upper radiator hose. I had to use sheet plastic for the side windows. A big thanks to modlbldr on the forum for sending a lot of stock parts for the build. The kit was a race car so I need wheels, exhaust and an engine. I'm not sure when I acquired the kit but one side was cracked and had to be repaired. The Mach1 decals are from a 71/72 Keith Marks decal sheet. The tires are much wider than the kits and the 13 inch ones that would have come on the real thing but they were the only ones that were smaller yet wide enough to fit the wide rims. If the kit was perfect I'd worry about the glass imperfections and other issues but my goal was to build something besides a 69-73 Mach1. Many people probably forgot Ford even made a Mach1 when the II's came out - the Cobra II got a lot more attention. I do have another Mustang II kit so that will be the next build - Farrah's ride.

The treasurer is probably still adding up the proceeds that will give our club bank account a boost to pay for upcoming shows and the monthly meeting room. There were some great deals today and everyone went home with a box of kits and other collectibles.

Will it have an engine?. So disappointing the same Japanese molds have been rehashed for the last 40 years and not one has an engine. It's not like it is the only mid-engine car ever made but it is one of the sexiest for sure. Brad from HRM was working a transkit but I'm not sure where he's at with it.

He cast a special part (72 Mustang hood) for me about 20 years ago. I wanted some more recently and he still had the mold and made me more. Just because it's not listed does not mean he does not have it anymore. -

Thanks everyone for posting. I know it's frustrating to not be able to order from a website but just think of it like the old days with the Autoworld catalogs. ? -

I was off a little on his age. Hopefully when he does retire someone younger will take over his business. He has done quite well for a small cottage business. -

Check out the R&M users Group on Facebook. There are some links to Fotki pages that show items and some price lists. Norman is 69 and he can be reached by landline, email or snail mail - he never had a website and never will.
