  1. That should prove to be difficult as they shared very little visually with any domestic 4 cylinder engine. Not sure if there are any Japanese kits that would have that Isuzu motor in it. The other difficult part is that the body has the molded flares and front spoiler, making it hard to build a stock body.
  2. So glad to see him walk out of the hospital less than two days after being rushed there with most of us fearing the worst. As far as his injuries, obviously they were serious enough for the team and family to not want to disclose them and I can appreciate that, In this instant information age, being afforded some privacy is the right thing to do. Whether he races again or not, that photo is two good reasons for him to do what he wants.
  3. Places like Wal-Mart will see a bigger impact than us model builders. They rely on China to stock their store with products so you can imagine if our precious model kits aren't being produced, there is a lot more important or higher selling items that aren't being made either. Can't imagine there are many on here who don't have a few kits to tide them over until things get back to normal.
  4. The tires in the Mojave Mule are the same Goodyear Trackers seen in the recent GMC Plow Truck . If I look through my junk box, I might be able to find a wheel or two and I think I still have the front bumper and tool box.
  5. I remember building the Mojave Mule and the Street Machine version back in the day. Didn't realize at the time just how basic these kits were but had fun nonetheless. I will pick up one of these, maybe two. Definitely will be swapping wheels and tires and if a correct engine could be found, that too!
  6. Let's hope one of the resin guys comes up with some stock parts for this (hint hint). I would love to have stock doors and hardtop. I am sure someone will have some wheels and tires.
  7. Any body know what is going on with the full bumper 70 Camaro? Modelroundup is now showing it as delayed and I had it and a couple of other kits on order waiting for it to arrive to ship my order.
  8. Not sure how well the Revell 66 Chevelle wagon actually sold to retail, but my guess is that R2 is likely looking at an existing tool that can be fixed cheaply and they can recover their costs in the pre-sell. That said, look for a Nova wagon as there are some who would build it as a drag car and others who might build it stock or slightly modified. With the recent Grumpy's Toy version, they have a nice small block and bench seat already to go, so maybe toss in a few extras and SHAZAM!
  9. Very nice, love the color choices and details.
  10. I'm with Espo, a light wash of black would give that grille the depth I think you were looking for. Nice restoration !
  11. Thanks. Sure wish he would update here, I don't get on FB as much as I used to, will have to search for it. I know that many members here aren't on FB as well.
  12. In as much as I don't have a subscription nor is there any place to pick up a copy, has the next issue of MCM come out? I know there was one back in December and I thought Gregg mentioned he had another one just about ready, so hopefully it won't be long. Really wish it was available in digital format, that is how I read mags now, less stuff to recycle and don't have to worry about the PO mangling it. TIA for any updates.
  13. That is the great thing about Joseph, he lets you know the delay instead of keeping you wondering or casting inferior products and have you feel ripped off. I have spent a good amount of money with him and have an order in now but have no doubts it will be exactly what I am looking for when it shows up!
  14. I'm in! Your stuff is top notch Greg!
  15. Very nice work! Love the details and weathering is spot on!
  16. You will be very happy with the Fireball products, unbelievable accuracy and detail in every thing he offers. If you decide to build one of those with a half cab, check out Olson Bros, they have some old Bronco stuff too!
  17. Could be many different reasons, but the best answer would be from someone who works there. They could be getting ready for a reset, waiting for a shipment, moving the aisle, the list goes on.
  18. Nice details and outstanding paint. Looks like you took your time to get it right!
  19. Incredible build, lots of great details and looks so realistic.
  20. Looks great! I am working on one using the Olson Bros. resin body for an older Commando.
  21. That there could get me to buy one of these, that car just looks freaking awesome to me!
  22. Should be interesting to hear what they have up their sleeves. We had been told the tooling for the 70's Dodge longbed pickup was beyond repair and we wouldn't see that kit again. Last year, they bring it out and it sells like crazy. I suspect that they have seen that type of success and started digging through whatever else they have that could be gold. New kits? Yeah, those can be expensive to tool up but with the right subject matter, it can make sense, look at what Moebius has done with the Ford pickups.
  23. I'm in! Would love to have that LUV and Elky and if that Jeep is a stock kit, count me as a buyer.
