  1. After selling about 50 kits in January, I have found myself buying a few more, even after I swore I didn't need any. Just today I was at Michael's with my 60% off coupon and then went to Hobby Lobby and used my 40% off coupon. I will not buy another kit until that Dodge D-100 pickup comes out, I swear!
  2. Looking forward to having this kit back. The box art is somewhat vague as to whether or not it is a long bed or short bed. I know much has been said about it being a long bed, will have to wait and see what we actually get.
  3. That is nice, looks like it was a fun truck to drive.
  4. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ My exact thoughts!
  5. Doesn't look like they have anything new planned for 2019, but at least they are keeping the brand alive.
  6. It has a big block under the hood, so it's pretty fitting to have the hood Dave. I built a replica of it with the snap fast kit and big block hood and used the flames stickers too.
  7. Lee, An old co-worker of mine who has built some pretty cool cars over the years built this 63 Corvette split window with a big block. /home/michael/Downloads/10603431_880562868639890_5874987499704933316_n.jpg
  8. Hobby Lobby still carries the 57 Chevy and hopefully Revell will bring the 63 Vettes back out soon. Those Monte's build up nice, I have a few yet to build in the stash, gonna be doing wheel swaps though, those wheel wells are huge!
  9. That looks much better and more organized, nice job. I recently upgraded my workbench lighting to a couple of OttLites from Hobby Lobby, including one with a magnifier and what a difference! My next task is to clean up and better organize my workbench like you have so my tools and paints are sorted and easy to find.
  10. Those are great kits, I have several of the convertibles and hardtops to build. Great way to spend a Saturday detailing and painting them, they make for a great shelf model when done.
  11. That is looking good so far and should be a beauty when done!
  12. Not sure why he hasn't updated his website, I think the guy who does his does all of the Detroit area casters and something may have happened or they are working on new websites. Either way, PM Kris here and he will let you know the details, he may even have the grilles!
  13. He doesn't have it listed but in an email to me this week he said it was $15 plus shipping. The wheelbase is corrected .
  14. Kris Morgan at Morgan Auto Detail has an 8ft bed for the Fall Guy pickup and 78 Ford Pickup. Haven't seen the grilles, but IIRC someone did make some.
  15. Very nice details and colors, love it. Sure wish we had options on bed length, like the Moebius Ford F-100 kits.
  16. This topic reminds me of something that is almost universal in most things in life: Want to make a million dollars? First start with two million dollars. I admire your desire to want to do what you are proposing, but in the end you will spend more money than you will make on the vehicle. Find something else to invest in if you want to make money or buy one of the vehicles if you want to wrench and learn more about repairing vehicles and can afford to spend the time and money doing so. Either way you will get an education and be better off for it.
  17. another great show by a great club, the SCMA!
  18. would love to see this kit again. Nice job of rebuilding it!
  19. Is that the '64 Chevy Fleetside pickup wheel back? IIRC, the number of kits they put those types of wheels in was not a lot and the first two that come to mind are the ones you already mentioned. The only other one that comes to mind is the 67 Chevelle.
  20. I think that $90 is reasonable as it looks pretty accurate and has most of the parts needed. I am guessing the recent Revell Jeep pickup kit would be the best choice of kits for the axles and if one wanted a V-8?
  21. Looks great, how do we order or find out more information?
  22. I have the following email address, though it is from years ago, for Steve: zsplace@zoominternet.net
  23. We can all speculate and ponder what should be done, but in the end it's up to Gregg. Not sure how many issues he is behind or he has ready to go and is trying to get printed. At this point, maybe Gregg will see this and comment, until then let's build some models!
