  1. Looking good! I like the scratchbuilt light, wish there were more modern lights like that available without having to steal them from expensive kits.
  2. I like it! Nice color and the interior looks right out of a real truck.
  3. I picked up an Ott Light magnifier at Hobby Lobby for about $35. It has the best lighting and the magnifier works great, I would check it out.
  4. He is working on new molds, should have something soon. Checkout his Facebook page.
  5. Nice work on building something off of memories. That cab looks a little rough but you are making it look great!
  6. Somehow missed this back in December, nice work as always Charlie!
  7. I've been watching both shows and have the same thoughts as you. My guess is they reason why they have added Quiring and Mission towing to the HTH show is so they have some of that Heavy Wrecker footage that was dominating the early seasons. Jamie is adamant about operating debt free with old trucks and if it gives him less stress, then good for him. I am sure the other guys are happy there is one less competitor on the heavy rescue calls.
  8. This is available for pre-order on MegaHobby with no release date listed , just 2019. Is shown with a list price of $39.95 and a discounted price of $33.99 Thinking about getting my pre-order in now so I am on the list!
  9. I need to get to work on mine, love the half cab. Between Fireball and Olson Bros., these Broncos can get fixed up really nice !
  10. The person I know paid less than what a kit goes for at full price at Hobby Lobby. He's a smart shopper and scores a lot of deals that way.
  11. Finally a use for those Ramchargers with warped bodies! Might have to check and see about grabbing one or two Ramchargers for 4wd conversions of these pickups.
  12. It is a Model King release, so maybe someone can ask Dave Burkett? If it does, I can imagine a selling price pushing $40, but just might be worth it for that bed,
  13. I know someone who bought one of those recently for a LOT less money.
  14. Has there been any news regarding when this truck will be available? Haven't seen anything on pre-orders so I am guessing it is a ways off?
  15. I recently bought an Ott Lite with the magnifier. It had the yellow tag price and IIRC, when I did the math it was calculated at 50% off. Saw the same stickers on the airbrushes too, so pretty sure they took the preemptive strike and discounted it for you. Tried to upload an image of the sticker but the forum isn't allowing me to.
  16. Nice choice on the tires, Danny has some really nice stuff ( and a bunch of my lunch money! LOL)
  17. Looks good, especially if you are replicating a new top or one that has been taken care of.
  18. Ditto! She's been on a diet and she's crabby enough without me adding to it! Celery sticks might get me a hug, chocolate will have her reaching for a rolling pin!
  19. IIRC that would have a 12 bolt because the car is a big block.
  20. This would be most welcomed news. I have gone back and forth on whether or not I will build my large wrecker kits or sell them off and now it sounds like maybe I will be building them. I collected kits over the years with the idea of building a whole fleet from light duty, medium duty to heavy duty. A medium duty Holmes 500 or 600 would be great to have too!
  21. I noticed that they only had the stepside bed kit available for pre-order, wonder how much longer before the Utility Bed and styleside kits will be out?
  22. Yes, just when we thought there was a company that could bring our wishlists to life. Sure hope they continue to issue kits.
  23. That is beautiful! Excellent details and a whole lot of scratch building. That hi top might make it a bit tricky to navigate off road but it looks like the ultimate wilderness camper.
  24. Very nice scratch building on that dump bed. Should be a nice truck when done! On a side note, Danny at Scenes Unlimited is finalizing a design on a similar dump bed for those of us that do not have your skills.
  25. Coming along nicely, love that shade of green. '69s are my favorite, have a bunch in the display case.
