I'm still trying to figure out how to get the box opened! Beautiful little Fiat, these kits when built right just have an "I'm gonna smoke you" attitude and this one is right in there. Nice paint and I guess the sponsor is of the same general shade of green.

That is what Chrysler, GM, and Ford should have considered as an extension of the Pony Car line. You have created an excellent example of design ingenuity, very well done. Love the details especially the hood, and the paint is perfection.

I am really impressed with the attention you are showing to the appearance of this car. I have a few in my stash and will keep this post flagged to come back to. The local WalMart had 6 of the Coke versions on their Clearance shelf for more than 5 months. I approached the manager about selling them to me at a more reduced price, she agreed. When we got to the cash register they rang up 1/2 of what I had considered paying for them. Anyway, I built one of these before getting that deal and here is the way I fixed the grille problem.

Haven't done any real fabrication/welding work in more than 42 years. That was in the middle of my USAF career, we used steel tables - "good enough for government work". As a matter of fact, I had never seen a MIG welder until just as I was being retrained out of welding in 1981. I was aircraft certified in stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and inconel, had to be to repair aircraft parts. I can definitely see the benefits of such a table. Would be a real joy, and an almost necessity, putting together a tube frame for a V-8 powered Pinto or a Pinto 4-cylinder powered T-Bucket. Thanks for sharing the video.

The vocabulary used to describe this build has me stumped. It is a phenomenal amount of detailed, painstaking work all rolled into a masterpiece of - shall I call it Jewelry. This piece of modeling is a pricelessly beautiful gem. Thank you for your outstanding work and for sharing the finish with us.

All it needs is a beauty queen sitting on the convertible cover and a parade and it would be in its element. This is one beautiful land yacht, color really fits it well.

Not really a good place for someone with claustrophobia. Enjoying watching this dual build come together. That old truck and the Flattie powered tanker are where Bonneville came from. Looking forward to updates.

I really dislike beating a dead horse, but there has been no "real NASCAR" since the mid to late 90's. At least the bodies represented T-Birds, Luminas/Monte Carlos, Pontiacs, and the like. Anyway, whichever way they decide to go I doubt will change my opinion of the series and make me watch it.

I was sort of taken aback by how well that 'smaller' scale engine filled the engine compartment. But then I remembered those 40 trucks were not very large to begin with.

The F-150 photo was made shortly after I bought it in 2022, the Pinto pictures were just a couple of months ago when I finally got it back from the body shop.

Finally have this one on the road. I have had it almost a year and it has been in and out of shops, most of the time was spent in a body shop. I think I may have been expecting a bit too much in the power department, especially when compared to my 5.0 F-150.

Beautiful build, very neat concept. Just wondering how you would keep from igniting a trailer when you hit full afterburner.

Very impressive build considering your implied simplicity. That paint looks smooth. Now if it was just Ford powered.

Beautiful Jaguar. I don't know why, but every time I see a Jag I hear Jan & Dean's "Deadman's Curve" running through my head.

And no rollovers or end-over-end flips. Single vehicle head-ons are pretty violent, but not as much as a 180 mph multi-rollover, and almost all of the super speedway races will have at least one. Nor do they come close to a super high-speed T-Bone. It is all well and good when those massive batteries are under you, the lower center-of-gravity should help handling, however if you are rolling over and another car is bearing down on you spinning out of control, I believe I would prefer an ICE.

One topic that has not been discussed with EV NASCAR is what happens during the "Big One" at Daytona or Talladega. What will be the carnage when three or more of these cars collide at 190+ mph, does a couple of end-over-end flips, or maybe five or six barrel rolls? Not sure how these toxic battery packs would react to such violence.

Just like the others said, this is a beautiful build and your weathering is excellent. Really like it.

Really enjoyed looking at these builds and your history of each of them. I've never been much of a bike fan, but these may change my mind. I know my local Wal-Mart has two or three of them still in stock, may have to splurge and buy them.

Definitely some sweet builds. That '55 is killer, very nice work. I was a Glidden fan because he drove a Ford.

Going to watch this build. I have the 2-n-1 checkerboard version of the Phaeton and am needing some inspiration and will garner some ideas from your build.
