  1. I think your problem is not the built kits, it's all those unbuilt ones taking up space in bulky boxes. I'll PM you may address. just shoot a few of those my way!
  2. That whole Sabbath tribute album was pretty great! My personal fav album from COC is Blind. But Deliverance was their biggest and best selling album.
  3. I don't know how you guys crack out builds this quickly. Especially builds as nice as this one.
  4. Good to see you back!
  5. It's a Tamiya colour. I think it's Buff? I'll check tonight for you.
  6. I'm guessing a grand total of maybe three people here will have any clue who this is, but Reed Mullin from Corrosion Of Conformity passed this week. He was COC's founder and drummer. Awesome band, my band got to open for them back in the early 90s when they came through town.
  7. Also, I'm amused that some got the "no photography" warning into their picture.
  8. I like it. Full detail would be nice, but curbside Tamiya's are still excellent
  9. Lol. GM needs to improve their hiring process for test drivers. First two go for drinks then decide to race these things. Now one is parking the pre-production cars in unsecured areas.
  10. What kind of dummy spends this kind of money on a vehicle, and doesn't get a set of wheel locks? A full set of wheel locks from GM is $80 CDN. We add them to pretty much every GM product we buy here at work; and every other make for that matter, and guess what? Have had no wheel thefts since doing that. Now if only there was an easy catalytic converter lock...
  11. I've always liked these.
  12. On a somewhat related note, I wish the 66 Mercury Comet Cyclone would get reissued. My dad drove one in the 80s. Same platform as the Fairlane if I recall. I think I also read somewhere that the molds for that kit are long gone, so reissue won't be possible. Anyway, I like the subject, will be watching!
  13. What happened to the Moebius deck trailer with the spread axles? Wasn't that supposed to be coming out soon? The more I see the pic of that Marmon, the more I kinda want one. Especially the COE.
  14. Looking great.
  15. You have my attention. Despite their reputation, I love the 996 generation. And that body kit! The car you're attempting to replicate is fantastic.
  16. Good luck with your marketplace forum! As an aside, you can put the disclaimer on there, but be prepared for the emails/PMs when a trade/sale goes south. You WILL be getting messages from people expecting you to step in and fix things. Happens here fairly often.
  17. We have a couple of antique malls here that often have some good finds. Especially when they do their big parking lot sales a couple of times a year. i have found many a wanted kit, and the vendors are usually willing to haggle. A local RC club used to do a swap meet every fall. RC stuff, diecast, and plastic. I always found stuff there, for excellent prices, but they haven;t done it for a couple of years.
  18. You have some excellent skills! Inspires me to get better with my own skills.
  19. That is some excellent work!
  20. His classic scene for me would be the Musical Mouse Organ... Or his mud scene in Holy Grail.
  21. What is bizarre, is that this is actually real. Planter's Peanuts actually posted on their Twitter feed that Mr Peanut, their marketing mascot, is apparently dead. From Wikipedia...
  22. Looking really good. Excellent plumbing work.
  23. Good eye! I am very interested in that one! The El Camino too, will make its way into my stash.
  24. Looking great! What did you replace the kit shocks with? Is that just styrene tubing cut to fit? I need to try that.
  25. i would almost guarantee that there will eventually be a kit. It'll be too popular a subject to ignore. Although, the number of Corvette kits seems to shrink from generation to generation.
