Resin 64 Chevy Crew Cab Pickup
NOBLNG replied to 64SS350's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Nice looking project Karl. Leaf springs look great.?I’m not a fan of the low profile tires on a 4x4, but that’s just my preference…I have a thing for big tires.? Carry on. -
Well despite the issues you had Garry, it turned out Great.?

1930 Packard Speedster Phaeton 734...
NOBLNG replied to Matt87's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
https://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?make=Packard I don’t see anything real close on this site. Nothing close to the one that I have either.? -
Wow, that’s a lot of engine for that little car!?

Looking For A Special Glue
NOBLNG replied to oldcarfan's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Casting the parts would be the best solution although not economical. I would think 5 minute epoxy would work as good as anything for the original parts. I would pin the pieces and drill some holes for the epoxy to key into. It’s up to the OP to experiment. -

It looks really good in that blue Bob.? I hope you can get it smoothed out.

Nice plan and good progress Les.? It looks like a pretty nice kit, except for that roof seam.?

I think I’ve got both sides looking similar now. A coat of primer will tell for sure. Now these headlights are going to take some fiddling with to fit properly. They will need to get stripped too and a bit of Milliput added to fill the gaps I think.?

Fantastic work Chris! That engine detailing is awesome!?

They both look great!?

A different approach to the AMT 41 Plymouth coupe.
NOBLNG replied to alan barton's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Nice conversion on that dash Alan! I searched and searched for a good pic of the speedo. I found a couple, but the coloring and contrast of a stock Plymouth speedo is pretty bland. By the time I downsize it to 1/25, the detail is nearly obliterated.? -
Spraying decanted Duplicolor Filler Primer
NOBLNG replied to 39restorod's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Welcome to the forum Don. You may have to do a bit of experimenting. Try spraying it un-thinned first. It is filler primer, so I assume you want some thickness. If it is too thick to spray, then try a 2:1 primer/thinner mix. Adjust the mixture to your liking. Hope this helps.
