Thanks allot Anthony! I really wanted the history of the original car to show through and it was the same plan for the Silverado so it got implemented on the Supra. I like the CBR and this was not my last. ? I usually work better with some pressure and a tight deadline, as long as I know I can make it, makes me motivated!? I will try to, only thing is that my brain get so activated in the subject so it takes focus from allot else. We will se how I do. ? the truck will get finished but I might do some build in between. Again, thanks for all your inputs and I really enjoy the atmosphere we had in this years CBR!

Nice choices every one! I might join in late in the year, i am born in 1987 so there are some great cars to build(not many kits say 1987) but I guess it’s ok to build any car that was in production in 1987. That would leve me with, MKIII Supra, Camaro (built from the iacono pro mod), BMW M3, Ferrari F40 and plenty more cool cars. But I think I will join with a Porsche 959, it’s a cool car but it looks so boring to me, but I have some ideas to make it cool.

Came out great! It really is undercover, and you almost need to know that it is a Nascar to not think that it’s a police cruiser!

Came out great! And as we discussed that exhaust really fits it well! Paint look really dark and nice and seeing it in that light makes it look darker than the Gun Metal ? al the work on the trim paid of and look killer! Again really good work, as you always do!

Here is my revised Cannonball Run Reuse build. Started with my C5R that snowballed and the time was not there to finish it as I wanted to so one month ago I switched to this. Tamiya TOM’s Castrol JGTC Toyota Supra from the 1995 season where it was street derived cars competing. This is one of the most iconic Japanese racing cars in modern time thanks to games as Gran Turismo 2, where the Supra was one of the must have cars in the game. The 1995 TOM’s Castrol Supra got dragged out of storage, sprayed in an more discrete color with some minor modifications and a added extra seat for the co driver. If you look closely you can still se hints of its previous life as well as the wear and tear of 26 years of use and neglect. And I broke my own record and finished it in 33 days from idea to Finnish! Custom wing made from the original wing sides and a Porsche GT2 “wide” wing blade. Period correct side mirrors. Typical JDM Mufler. C5R difusor. Extra seat with PE seat bases for both seats. PE seat belts. And again, thanks to everyone at the forum for al the kind words and encouragements!

#19 the team pushed through and finished the Supra respray and rebuild to be able to compete! The origin can still be seen in some places as well as the original color on the inside, underside and within the engine bay.

Paint looks epic! I think you would like the Gun metal TS38, looks almost as your dark gray, can be seen at my Supra in the canonball run. That exhaust cut out turned out great and will look epic when done!

Think i will make it.. even though I made a new wing from theJGTC Supra wing sides that I made to look more like a TRD wing and adjusted the profile to a wide GT2 Porsche wing blade. have painted the trim and lights. Need to assemble them and the mirrors than I am at the home stretch.

I don’t attend shows because the lack of them where I live. Went to one years back, did not intend to get any recognition but it was the only car from the show that got published even though it was not a first class build as many here but it was visual and creative with stance. Any how I like seeing primer builds and I often display my primer builds in the cabinet ( not a crowded place) since they look cool in primer.
