Found something interesting on the door cards in this kit. You can see the seem line where it looks like they've used the mould from the two door to make the four door panels. Hope they didn't butcher the two door moulds to make this!
At last, my black primer arrived in the post today so I can finally start on this. My local store didn't have black primer so had to order it online which took an absolute age to arrive! I should have some pictures up later. Right then, lets go!
Coming together nicely. The rolling chassis looks nicely detailed on this kit, it looks like it could be used in one of those old black and white movie reels where the manufacturer explains why the new 48 Ford is better than the rest!
I think so. I wonder why they didn't revise the interior tub though, cos it still had the roll bar mounts for the other model. I cut mine off and used some body filler.
Looks amazing! The 1:18 scale parts work really well. The engine looks great, I remember the Lego block it replaced, Lol! I enjoyed watching this progress and the work you put into it, nice one. What a wild looking Mustang!
