  1. Nice looking Mustang. As others have said, the colour really works well, and nice work laying it down.
  2. Beautiful Caddy. Very clean work. You really did that old model justice. How did you do the pinstriping on the hood?
  3. Classic! It looks just right. Nice details and good colour choices. Well done.
  4. Cool stuff, Mark. You're getting right into it. Scratchbuilding can be very satisfying work.
  5. I am quite intrigued with your work. It's interesting to see the process.
  6. Not bad at all. Lots of promise there. I'm curious about the undercoating of Krylon chrome. Is this just something you were experimenting with, or is it the proper method?
  7. Very nice, jj. That’s one of the coolest Camaros I’ve ever seen. Nice realism in those outdoor shots. I like!
  8. Great looking stocker, John. Not the most flashy race car perhaps, but beautiful in it's 'all business' appearance. Nice work on those decals, too. Well done.
  9. Very nice build! I love seeing these old sports car kits built up, especially when they look this good. Very well done.
  10. That is a seriously good looking set of bars, Francis. They look perfect poking out from under the rear body work. Excellent!
  11. Good save. Nice looking model. Certainly worth the effort to get it right.

    1958 Ford

Wow. I can't remember the last time I've seen one of these, but it's been a very long time. Nice work. The colours work perfectly. Cool.
  13. Nice looking Torino. They look so great in red with white stripes. Cool!
  14. Definitely looking forward to watching this one come together.
  15. Interesting kit, I'm following. I've mixed Tamiya gloss black and flat black (acrylics) to get semi-gloss, though I prefer their actual semi-gloss which lays down very nice. However, I find semi-gloss to still be too flat for chassis painting. For general chassis parts that are to be black, I mix Tamiya semi-gloss black and gloss black acrylic to create a black with a slight sheen, perfect for chassis work. I call it chassis black, and always have some on hand.

    AAR Cuda

Very tidy. Good looking Cuda. Nice work.
  17. Looks like a cool plan. I’ve been developing an interest in 1/32 kits lately. I’ll be watching this one.
  18. Yes, a couple times with Testors bottles, when I was young and less diligent with keeping the bottle threads and cap clean. The bottles didn’t shatter so much as break into two or three large pieces. Nonetheless, makes a heck of a mess.
  19. The two circular pieces glued to the grill are actually the velocity stacks for the carburetors of the race version engine.
  20. Very nice period custom. Lovely paint. You nailed the look. Well done.
  21. Try asking your question on the Open Wheel Racing Modeling forum. There are usually some keen Indy Car model builders/enthusiasts there who will likely know the answers to your questions.
  22. I always enjoy seeing your work. Excellent weathering. Very high degree of realism.
  23. Nicely done, Force. I always enjoy reading minutia on nitro engines. My background is mechanical engineering, yet I never cease to be amazed at the mind bogglingly incredible numbers. 900-1100 lbs of down force from the zoomies! First time I heard this stat. Mind blowing. When I was a teen and really keen about understanding engine physics, I calculated the total number of revolutions for a top fuel run, and came up with a number similarly low to what quoted above. I was certain the answer was wrong, but couldn’t find a mistake in the math. Checked it several times, then the penny dropped… mind blown!
