Let's see your geegaws!

The one I have is much larger than the one on the box art. It was molded in red plastic as was an early issue of the '34. -

Didn't the '34 also include an engine hoist that looked a bit like a swing set? -
What do you use to cut your curves?

I will do that, and then it will be time to- experiment!

Thanks for the info, Les. I was actually looking to use it in place of a scribed line. I have a project with a lot of filler where the door lines would be, and my experience is that the filler tends to chip. The tape itself would be chrome trim, not planning to use it over scripts or emblems. Any chance you could forward me info for the Chinese company?

I am considering using 0.50mm striping tape for door lines (flat black) and chrome trim (chrome if possible). I have seen finger nail decorating tape this narrow in both these colors, but I am concerned about how well it will bend (wrinkling around curves) and adhesive durability. I have never tried scribing door and panel lines and thought this might be an alternative. Any comments, thoughts, or how-to's very welcome!

Doesn't look like steam, but no visible exhaust pipe either- diesel or gas?

The Revell parts pack show display had a chrome 2 piece engine stand. I use mine a lot. I'll post a pic when I get a minute.

If you decide to chop the top, don't go as hard as the kit parts- half way between stock and the kit chop looks better- what they call a " gentleman's chop".

Would you consider a V'd windshield to complement the v-shaped cowl area? Regarding that supercharger, it has been a favorite of mine for years. I have even doubled up the center casing to make a longer unit.

The engineering is great, so now a background story need to be imagineered!

Another great project! Curious about the special project status of this build! -
I don't know if Norm is back from his surgery, but everything seemed to be going well- perhaps someone on the forum can give an update?

Replicas and Miniatures has both the quick change and the axle tubes- saves robbing kits!

Here is a Monogram 3 Ford sport coupe. I was able to repair the broken front axle and make a matching hair pin. Otherwise as built by the original builder, including all the decals, which are in great shape.

Having been to the Fall Meet in Hershey, the Hot Rod Nats in York, and many events at Carlisle, you have definitely nailed the flea market vibe! Of course if you decide to model Hershey you would need mud.............
