  1. Great job on the build!
  2. Thank you, back when this was built, someone was offering the kit chromed, all but the body. I used a lot of the engine and suspension pieces. Thank you again for the comment!
  3. What's good all, started cleaning off (dusting) shelves and cases, thought it would be a good time to share some pics of some older builds. This was the old Monogram 65' Impala kit, for the most part box stock aside from MAS steering wheel, wheels and air cleaner, tires may have been some American Satcos. The interior is detailed with flocking, BMF, engine was kit provided, wired, fuel line etc., paint and clear was Sikkens, color was a newer Chevy Blue Pearl. Kit was fun to build, went together fairly well with minimal issues. Just realized I still need to add a mirror to the driver door. ettm

  14. Look forward to following this one along!
  15. Wow, this is coming along great and I can only imagine the patience in getting all the different parts to come together, great job, very clean!
  16. This is looking good! I'm looking forward to seeing this come together!
  17. Thank you my friend, I am trying! Love the hobby but it is so easy to drift away with everything going on right now! Initially I was going to try and hammer these out being they have been sitting so long, but going to take some time and ad some moderate detail to them! Thank you, appreciate the kind comments! My idea with the Merc is to keep it pretty much box stock, ad a few details but mostly want to see how it goes together as I have some ideas for a few more in the future!
  18. What's good everyone, been a minute since I've posted or got time in on any projects, last thing I needed was something else started...but here we are. Trying to get something fun, easy to enjoy some bench time in on as my other projects, I'll be chipping away on for some time. Anyhow, saw this the other day, nothing I ever figured I would probably be building but it seemed like a great canvas to be smoothed and covered in a nice Kandy paint job! Have a few ideas but noting in stone yet, started the basics, getting the engine block together, cleaning up the body, mold lines, removing door handles and locks etc. Have found a nice little sink mark on the rear panel on the bed, will need to do a little work on that. Not a lot to show as of now but hopefully will have another update in tomorrow or Saturday and plan to keep this rolling right on through!
  19. Nice! I'm looking to jump back on this project as well, all the years I've seen this around, have a few but never dove into one, now I have ideas for more
  20. Projects, projects and projects, Bell and I are looking to get some bench time in now, getting used to the school changes, work for me has been pretty crazy but settling down now. Hopefully you will see some updates coming thru on Bell and my projects! Bell said thank you, time to get back on it!
  21. Thank you brother, with everything going on, have not had any bench time but looking to jump back on these and a few others to keep me going! Bell wants to get back on her two projects as well, time to get crackin' Thank you, the 59's have been sitting so long, really need to get them going! The Black Widow was not tubbed, just some old school mid slicks on there, trying to recall now what some of the issues were, been a while since I touched that one, a good while
  22. Great start!
