Very interesting. Anytime you improve a Cheby with the addition of ford parts , is a good thing. Keep on keepin on!

Really nice take on a custom. I really like the way you took the "dip" out of the door, I've not seen that done. Sweet! -
Most excellent duedlet. If he's already that good at 13, think about what he'll be like ay 23.

Still watching, in total awe and respect. This is one masterpiece! Should be in the model hall of fame.

Just started on the same kit. I'm going to do mine as a barn find. I'm real interested in your build, as I have followed your builds before, and I like the fact your not hesitant to try something out of your comfort zone.

That is beautiful!!!!! The real one never looked that good. Seems a shame to for you to have use up valuable storage space, so I volunteer some of my unused space to you for storing the little red car:) -
What color did you use? Good choice, not typical. I really like the whole model.

Really like the color combo!

I spent 32 years servicing ATM's of every make and configuration. The brail, headphone jacks were not the banks nor the manufacturing company. the cause of both of those wonderful additives, was the federal government, and their laws re guarding handicapped persons.

In what vehicle did you learn to drive?
lucky 130 replied to BeakDoc's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Learned to drive in a 1955 Plymouth Savoy 4 door. 3 on the tree with an overdrive, and a V8. don't remember what size. Took drivers test in a 1966 Oldsmobile 442 convertible with 3 duces. The officer asked me how long I'd been driving I said since I was 11, he said let's go get a milkshake and we did. By the way, I passed. -
GOT MY COPY Sat. My wife made me put it down and come to supper Sat. night. She made me put it down and come to bed. She told me she'd better not see it again for the rest of the weekend or she was going to see a lawyer. I'm still weighing my potions!

You can find strange Cobras. please keep it up, and I'll keep enjoying your searches.

As usual, fine work on a snake. I really like seeing what you come up on a Cobra. Build on my friend.

According to R2 the 1964 California drag comb will be released in April.

Just saw this Ray. A beautiful car and a great color combo. To think it's not even a Cobra!

How to pronounce Porsche
lucky 130 replied to afx's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Renualt has always been Renualt until some sportcaster started saying Renau. I reced these cars and sold them for years. They were always Renualt. -
Back in the day, I used to build 1/24 slot car frames in brass. I know what a chore it is to keep everything lined up and square. Your work is second to none. Just amazing!

(HRM) Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe

How do you like the minimal amount of cleanup? The frame/ suspension build up square if you follow the directions. This was the first resin build I had ever done, and while not the easiest, it was the most satisfying. Good luck and enjoy. -
I suggested you take the 'dip" out of the doors, and you were correct. Setting by it's self, just looks kind of different, I'll bet when it sets next to a stock Merc, it'll look WILD. Masterful work. Can't wait to see more.

Thanks Guys. I really would like to get a few.

I may have missed it but does anyone know when R2 is going to release the "Drag combo"?

great build. Fireball was my hero back then. I too would like to see NASCAR go back to it's roots. The only problem I see is None of todays drivers, and I do mean none, could compete. they're just not strong enough. Took a lot of upper body strength to man handle those cars, plus a great deal of internal strength that todays bunch just don't have.
