  1. I can't remember every seeing one of these built in a stock configuration let alone to this degree of finish. I like the retro pictures, this sets one's mind to a different time when looking at this build. So many fine details that some might not remember that were part of this vehicle in its day.
  2. Great looking TA and perfect color for this. I like how clean the trim looks.
  3. Beautiful paint and color. The stripes look good here. The engine detailing is great looking
  4. Should you every run out of storage space my garage would be available.
  5. Great looking stock Woody. Nice paint work on the wood body.
  6. Looks great, I like the color. Cleanly detailed.
  7. A lot of added detail to this engine. I'll have to try building one like this in the future.
  8. Even with all the issues with the paint the final finish looks great. These Show Rod type builds are always interesting and this one looks as if it could even be driven. I was wondering about the engine in this, it looks like a Dual Overhead Cam of some sort. Was this in the kit or something you put together ? This build looks very cleanly put together.
  9. I like the High Boy style and nice to see something other than a SBC engine for a change. The paint looks nice and smooht and a great color.
  10. The resin body is a great representation of the White cab. Besides the great looking bed the design of the sides looks good as well.
  11. A lot of great looking cars and trucks. Looks like a lot of owners are selling, although the prices I could see look like they are very proud of their vehicles.
  12. The full size 1:1 Chevy S-10 and the GMC twin used the 2.8 liter V6 engine and later offered the 4.3 liter V-6 as an option.
  13. Beautiful looking combination. The Suburban is a great looking period paint styling and colors. Very cleanly done trim as well. The Boat with the Caddy fins was a style at the time and looks real nice as well. I like the Outboard Engine for power as that would have been the norm as well. A lot of creativity in the making of the hull and deck and the trailer looks nice also.
  14. Leaves are now a thing of the past. We just moved to a new maintains provided neighborhood on a golf course. We used to have half an acre with many trees, and while I loved the trees cleaning up after them every fall was becoming a pain. Now with the wind removing a large majority of the leaves the ground crews take care of the rest.
  15. Beautiful looking A-Bone. I like looking at all the little details you added. The Flames look great and the body paint and color is super shinny. I like the look of the basic steel wheels

    USPS Pinto.

All of your fabrication work paid off with a great looking little Pinto. I like the USPS theme.
  17. Back when this was about the only way to "chrome" the trim on a model there was a trick that we would use. I don't even know if this would work today, but what we used to do was brush on a pretty heavy coat of the silver paint. Wait a moment and then gently blow on the still wet paint and then set it aside to dry. The builder who showed me this explained that blowing on the paint would somehow make the heavier silver pigment in the paint settle and the clear chemicals would come to the surface and leave a shinier finish. We used to think it worked anyway.
  18. Great attention to details in your painting techniques.
  19. Like many builders I started building models when I was still in school. At the time kits were starting to change from soft wood to plastic Promo type issues of current passenger cars. Everything was brush painted and you used as much tube glue as possible. Single edged razor blades were considered high tech tools before high tech was considered a term. Today we have so many specialized tools along with other repurposed tools. We have a wide selection of adhesives at our disposal. A rainbow of colors from a number of suppliers. We have spray can paint that will give you a finish far beyond what we ever thought possible and to now have an air compressor driven spray gun and a spray booth with it's own exhaust fan. Now we're even 3D printing our own parts. Should be interesting to see what will come next.
  20. I would think that the Camper would have to be widened since the bed of the full size Ford is wider and longer than the El Camino. Since we're dealing with plastic it wouldn't be beyond some basic fabrication.
  21. Very realistic looking finishes. Is that a can of "Rocky Mountain Cool Aid" on the Hood ?
  22. Beautiful looking paint and finish. Always like seeing some of the older cars and trucks built in a show room theme.

    '70 Malibu

I like how you changed this to a regular Malibu and the two-tone paint treatment looks great.

    1960 Chevy

Great looking Kustom body work and the paint color and finish as well. Interesting looking paint finish under hood and on the bottom of the body. I like how you detailed your interior and the trunk area.
