I think the owner has passed and his son isn't interested. Aw, man - breakin' my heart! Someone save it before they make more Green Hornet movies! OK if I post this on my car club's FB page? I know some folks there that might want to rescue it. Edited June 10, 2021 by ChrisBcritter
The Junkman Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 (edited) Hey, do as you wish. I don't know the son and only knew the dad from occasional neighborhood talk and preparing his taxes several years ago at a AARP Tax Program site. Edited June 10, 2021 by The Junkman
espo Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Would be nice if someone could save the Imperial before someone makes a Rat Rod out of it or worse a Destruction Derby Car.
Tom Geiger Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 When I was in Demo Derby at Wall Stadium in NJ years ago the rules specified. “No station wagons, no Chrysler Imperials” I was behind this one today:
peteski Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 LOL! Last week I saw a NH license plate OLDLADY. That made me smile.

ToyLvr Posted June 11, 2021 Posted June 11, 2021 Seen at the local supermarket yesterday evening. I watched it pull into the parking spot, then a shapely blonde lady driver got out?

I’ve read that they also replaced Mercedes badges with laser or water jet cut eagles head badges to try and disguise that these are Mercedes products from people that would automatically assume that the USPS was spending S-Class money on basic work vans when the saw the 3 pointed star emblem.........and not that a German manufacturer was building vehicles for the United States Post Office? USPS uses them here too, can you say" Postal rate increase" ???

They start at $32k, so they’re not super expensive, though having to rebadge them to keep people from losing their minds over it being “a Mercedes” is stupid. Unless these people don’t think the mail carriers deserve heat, a/c, and then to not to have to worry about their 30 year old solar ovens……..errrr…..delivery vehicles catching fire on their routes due to aging wiring until the new purpose built vehicles can be delivered.
Venom Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 Saw a whole bunch of stuff today, so I thought I’d start off with our local ice cream trucks which made their first appearance about three years ago. They’re pretty creative and interesting...
Venom Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 (edited) Here’s the rest of what I saw today... kind of went on a quest looking for stuff... Someone’s daily driver... An Austin Healey Sprite I got so excited about the Barracuda that I almost didn’t notice the Mustang across the street. A little disappointing to find it wasn’t the real deal, but still cool to look at nonetheless. Edited June 14, 2021 by Venom 1
NOBLNG Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 Every Sunday is cruise night in Winnipeg. There were sure a lot of neat vehicles out. Here are just a few. 1
Earl Marischal Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 Chatted to the owner of this Riley Elf. He re-restored it recently and is now enjoying it. He also owns a Wolsely Hornet and a Mini Traveller. steve

iamsuperdan Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Was in Jasper yesterday visiting a client, and parked near this beauty. I have loved these for a long, long time. It's not my first choice in colour, but I wouldn't turn it down. Too bad someone parked that McLaren 720S in the way!

TonyK Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Always enjoy all the cars shown here and a bit of humor is fun too.
OldTrucker Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 A big car hauler semi pulled up in front of my son's house today and left this little gem!
