  1. Very nice! I like the color combo that looks well done to me.
  2. Cool, even the Wilwood firewall mounted boosters have that same look.
  3. Lots of nice builds! Here's mine. BFX Clone.
  4. Never done one of those before, and never saw one anyone has ever made. My understanding is that the booster for the '50 was under the flooboard. If so, they just look like it could be duplicated using a couple of pieces of styrene tube or rod glued together. Styrene would be best so you can round the edges. Add a thin round piece of styrene on the end and you're mostly there.
  5. Nice work indeed!

    Sweet!
  7. Awesome job!
  8. Nice start!
  9. Very nice build!
  10. I didn't do a lot but here is a quick end of month update on my Corvette. I cleared out the interior of all of the electronics and other stuff. I also added some length to the exhaust pipe to represent side pipes. Still loud but legal (barely). I'll cut an exit just in front of the rear wheels to accommodate. I'll get to it in earnest after I clear the bench.
  11. Very nicely done! I can't show that to my wife though or she'd have me looking for that kit to build a replica of one she drove until the wheels fell off!
  12. Nicely done!
  13. Nice work!
  14. Very nicely done! The best results from that kit I've ever seen.
  15. Yes, coming along quite nicely!
  16. Nice work, excellent detail!
  17. Very nice start indeed! I bought the kit last month and didn't notice the BBC valve covers. I'm planning on pro streeting mine with a big block anyway so not a big deal for me.
  18. Get one with a wheelbase similar to the car you plan to build. Specs for WB can be had through online search. There are other things to consider such as track width, which is how wide the car is from tire to tire centerline but usually you can change wheels to make up for that. If you know the kit you want to use just post another inquiry to the group. Someone has tried everything out there! Good luck.
