  1. That would be some sweet project!
  2. Hey Gang. I got the Tiger painted (mostly, hood needed more work) and here are some quick pics. Still got touch-ups and some trim to add. Tow chain looks big in the pic but its more perspective than oversize. I may just drop it in the trunk. Got more junk to put in there anyway.
  3. Fantastic detail on that engine! I'm an engine guy so I love it. Btw, those ferrules are used to terminate wire. I'll be picking some up, thanks.
  4. Very nice build! Fantastic detail work!!
  5. Sweet build TJ!
  6. Nice build Richard! I like the little custom details you added. Classy!
  7. Got mine because I was on the Atkins diet for a few years and you eat a lot of meat, so my friends started calling me the Meatman!
  8. Lucky you!! I have that 1/24 kit and am planning to build it later in the year as a restomod so I won't be using the hood trim, but since you don't need it it'll go in the stash.
  9. Stop it, I'm dyin' here!
  10. Very nice looking build! I'm partial to 1956's since its my birth year. Btw John, I'm pretty sure I have that hood ornament. Is that the 1/25 or 1/24 kit?
  11. Very well done! Nice detail!
  12. Awesome job!
  13. Sweet!
  14. Hey John, did you ever finish this? I'm assembling parts to do one and just wondered if you completed yours as I don't see any further updates. Thanks.
  15. Very interesting setup that I've never seen before. They appear to be designed to limit the rear end from rotating causing spring wrap-up.
  16. Like...Wow!! Simply awesome!!
  17. Thanks much!
  18. Very nice job! I built that kit this Fall and it was a blast. That dimple in the roof will show if you don't fix it. I think I used Tamiya putty to smooth it out. Nice piping material!
  19. Drag City Casting on FB casts the Pontiac rear end without the brackets, and for less than the full kit. I've bought from him and he's reliable and has good products. https://www.facebook.com/dragcitycasting/?fref=gs&dti=173972342685783&hc_location=group_dialog https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/member_dealer_directory/drag-city-casting-/parts/dsc08487.html VCG Resins has a drag bell housing that you might be able to use. It's under Drivetrain almost halfway down the page. He also has a bellhousing w/mounting plate that can be tweaked to add those extra mounts. http://vcgresins.com/main.html Sounds like an interesting project. Good luck.
  20. Great job Jean-Pierre! Fantastic weathering.
  21. Great fab work! Taking notes.
  22. Great build Rich! I love that era but have yet to build one. You're inspiring me!
