Assuming that's the Boss 429 of course that was only available in the KarKraft built 69/70 Mustangs.

Nothing wrong with "curbside" models. They look great.

Awesome craftsmanship. Only downside is it makes it looks I play with toy cars. -

I was lucky enough to get the Scale Production one before it was discontinued. The AMT 67 Shelby chassis is a good fit for it but I'm not sure about the USCP one. As you can see I decided to go with a different color. -
Cool find. I got my son a Ford GT when they came out in 2005.

This reminds me I wish someone would do the decals for the Lawman Mustang. Here's the front of the Shelby I mentioned above.

Very nice 68 Shelby. One thing I have noticed when researching that year is that the inside of the grille area is body color. Look at some pictures on line. Basically most of the chrome should be covered with paint which is a shame. Here are some builds that date back to the late 80's or early 90's.

Will be interesting for sure.

I won this reissued kit in a raffle and had no idea what to do with it. Now I do. Of course I may put a 289/302 Ford engine. Good job on yours.

The box says Miniatures Auto De Collection made in France. I'm guessing it was a small quantity made. I was not familar with the brand but it seems like a nice kit that is over 20 years old.

An easy way to participate is to build the 1/32 Monogram 70 Mach1. It's a snap kit with only a few parts but the end result can look quite impressive.

I need a Ford on the shelf

The Revell Shelby and AMT are at least a few decades newer than the Mach1 and 68 Shelby which have origins back to the 60's, thus they have a better chassis and interior. I'm not that familar with the Cougar but I think it's somewhere in between the others. Good luck on finding the missing parts. -
Nice score Gary. I have the old Aurora GT40 and the Revell reissue. It's not a bad kit really if not somewhat limited in the versions you can make with it.

Good catch. That's true for any 65-66 Shelby.

Very nice kitty. The engine is also great for doing a 1/25 Mustang Boss 302.

If you want to paint the stripes use this as a guide. Basically the stripes are wider on the roofs and narrow towards the front and back. I bet a lot of people did not know that. Those that do will respond they did.

Very realistic and superbly done.
-
I'm guessing plain old Testors gold. I need to repaint the stripes as I built this one over 30 years ago.

Nice find. Perhaps you can use a side mirror (or two) from a Monogram kit and anything else that is missing. I have the Super Snake and since there is nothing comparable I bought it but do not remember what I paid. I think it was part of a bunch of diecast cars from an auction and I got lucky. There were no boxes but the price was right. I have to laugh at people asking $900 for these on Ebay.
