  1. I am interested in the decal sheet. Nice work.
  2. Very nice work. Motor City has the wheels also as do some of the older AMT kits.
  3. You also experiment to see if the 69 Boss 302 front end fits.
  4. You need to come over to the dark side (1/43 scale). There are some really nice models and not all of them are expensive. I did stop buying 1/18 as they just take up too much room and most have less detail than FM or DM 1/24 models. The pics do not include any of my Mustangs.
  5. It was processed yesterday.
  6. Paypal is processing a refund since they cannot reach him. Has anyone heard anything. I have only ordered one other time and did not have any issues before.
  7. I hope to get some pictures in DC on Friday. They are going to project ths saturn rocket on the Washington monument.
  8. Good choice on the engine transplant. A little more work but the end result will be more believeable. Now that I see the rear spoiler holes I'm going to fill mine in. They are too far forward and the spoiler sits too high. Back to the putty and primer.
  9. The paint on the Testors metal diecast kit is pretty nice. But since I'm anal about the 71-73's I could not get past the 73 bumper with the 72 stripes so one of mine will be a 73 Mach1 with the 73 grille. I also filled in the incorrect hood vents. Are you going with the Boss 429 or doing an engine swap?
  10. Very cool and hopefully it will get some kids interested in models. If boomers still go to the Library they should be interested in your display.
  11. True - not everyone that builds is 60+ and remembers all these old kits. I am 60 and don't.
  12. Looking good. I love the 429CJ engine. It was around for only a while and the model companies in the 70's completely ignored it.
  13. Another possible entry if I get my act together. The Boss 429 engine will be replaced by a 351. This is the Testors kit. This thing is heavy.
  14. Now I'm thinking of doing a Cobra II instead of the snap kit Charger. The Cobra II spoilers and louvers will be painted separate.
  15. The dirty version.
  16. Very creative and well done. ROTFL at the rag for a gas cap.
  17. Another 79/80 era with the TRX wheels/tires. No Cobra decal on the hood but the rest looks like the right paint scheme.
  18. At least they are not bringing back Palmer kits. With any of these older reissues I expect an old kit in a new box with new decals and better tires and fresh chrome. No more no less.
  19. 68 Shelby GT500. Timeless kit that is not perfect and has not changed over the decades. I've built a few including two convertible conversions. It looks good in black. Some red stripes along the sides would look pretty cool. I usually bend the ends of the front bumper down as they tend to curve up.
  20. The more I look at the build I think that's a rare kit and it's spot on.
  21. Technically not a 84-86 SVO but a late 70's or early 80's turbo four hatchback. The SVO had 16 inch wheels and at the time about the same hp as the 302 GT. They were not a big seller but where ahead of their time. Your build is very nice and ou did a great job.
  22. If it is the same interior as the 66 coupe it would save time to use one without layers of paint. There ins't much difference between a 65 and 66 other than the dash and grille.
  23. Sounds like a good excuse to build this kit. Is there such a thing as a MInivan kit?
  24. Here's the reissue I built about 10 years ago. It's the only non car model I have built. Yours looks great and would be more what an actual creature might look like. I was going more for the guy in a rubber suit look. It's interesting the suit was green but since the movies were black and white I do not think they worried much about how authentic it looked. Everyone one of these I see has different shades of green which is great to see.
  25. Pretty sexy and we might see a diecast made but I doubt there will ever be a model kit.
