I wonder how much it shares with the Testor's Boyd's Hauler kit...the Van Halen truck. Looks like the wheels for sure. Nicely done!

I'm going to build a Ford Galaxie into a gasser, based on a car I really like that I see at local shows. I have the Fairlane kit, I have gasser kit, and I have some engine parts to use. But have just never got around to starting this project. Been a couple of years of looking at boxes. Here's the inspiration.

WOuld never have guessed it was a snappr originally. And your wheel research was correct. As a previous owner of a 1995 Z28 convertible, you got it right.

Yup! The two hosts were arguing over it. The one guy loved the TWR stuff and wanted to leave them. THe other guy was a purist and thought it was all tacky and ruined the classic lines. End result...ALL of the TWR bodykit and wheels were removed and original parts went on. Turned out beautifully, but I would have left it all TWR.

I could write a song about TP, but it wouldn't have the angst or emotion a song needs, because everywhere here has TP on the shelf. The idiots panicked and hoarded earlier this month, then once they hunkered down, the rest of us normal people could actually go and shop like we always do, without drama or fights or needing five shopping carts, or three dozen of any one thing.

Turned out nice! I've loved these cars for a long time, and have wanted this kit for a while. It's funny, last night I was watching tv and stumbled across a show called "Salvage Hunters CLassic Cars," and they found one of these in almost the exact same colours you used. And they turned it back to stock.

.thumb.jpg.d0926de2d8346363976c7c0a63bd15d7.jpg) Your Opinion: eBay Auction or Buy It Now?iamsuperdan replied to Mike999's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars) I prefer the Buy It Now option, and most will have the option to make an offer, which i've been pretty lucky with so far. Having said that, I have no issues with the auction listings. If I want something bad enough, I'll try and get it, regardless of the purchase method.

Thanks for that Tim. I am always disappointed when I get a kit without an engine. ESPECIALLY when it's from Tamiya. Those kits are priced well above the Round2 or Revell kits, so I feel I should get a "full" kit. Yes, they are better engineered and more detailed, but still. Having said that, the lack of an engine rarely stops me from buying a kit. At the end of the day, when it's on the shelf, no one is looking for an engine.

Looks good! Is this the Monogram kit? I actually have this on the bench right now.

That turned out nice. Your paint work is excellent!

I like it! HAve been mulling over grabbing one of these kits. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

	Looks good to me!

I've never really liked that kid's cereal. Too sugary for my tastes. And the marketing always confused me. Like when they made Trix cereal. Marketing: let's create a fun and exciting cereal. Executive: okay, let's hear it. Marketing: It's going to have fun colours, and the flavours are fruity Executive: OMG yes, we love it! Marketing: And rabbits can flip right off if they think they can have some. Anyway, I like simple cereals like Cheerios or Corn Flakes. A little skim milk, some banana or blueberries, I'm good.
