  1. This is what happens to me as well, I just wait it out. I also run the AdBlocker that comes with Firefox and get the same results if it is on or off. Another thing to look out for is Auto Updates to some of your programs. My wife recently had to roll back to previous install of Chrome because the latest update was playing havoc on her computer and giving her the Blue Screen of Death. All went away when she went back to older version. So not all problems are automatically caused by this or any other website. Our computers can do funny things if things are not perfect, there are so many versions of the major programs we use that it is hard to keep optimum compatibility with them all.
  2. Nice work. That Slant-Six looks cozy in the Belvedere.
  3. Yep, me too. That is an interesting take on it.
  4. Thanks for the kind words. I enjoy building, I find it very relaxing. I don't get to upset if things don't turn out as planned, so even my poor looking models are a sucess. I can always start rebuilding the early builds when the stash runs dry.

Nice work Tom. My hats off to you for those great looking big rigs.
  6. Nicely done, looking forward to seeing what next year brings.

    My 2016

Nice collection. You made great use of your available time.
  8. Bill, both of those came out great. The threat of losing your eyesight is pretty darn scary, so we will give you a pass for this year. I will be sure to come up and introduce myself if we both happen to end up at the same MAMA meeting.
  9. Nice work Jay. All that work on the '55 interior paid off, it looks great.
  10. Great work Tulio. I like both versions of the Galaxie.
  11. Very nice work. I really like the Mini.
  12. Excellent work. Your model building skills and the way that you present them in the photographs, makes them very realistic.
  13. Love that Fiat. They are one of the classic drag cars and they still look great on the track today.
  14. That is a nice lineup of vehicles. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Very nice Steve. I always look forward to seeing your work and appreciate the progress shots and descriptions of what you did to achieve those great results.
  16. Very nice. Keep posting photos and I will keep looking at them.
  17. Nice variety and they all look great.
  18. Paul, I must say I am a little jealous. Quality AND Quantity. Doesn't get any better than that. Can't wait to see what you come up with in 2017.
  19. Nice group of models and an excellent way to show them off.
  20. They ran a '65 Coronet AWB, IIRC. I also think they briefly had a Challenger (but it may have never been raced, only tested). Edit: I have been looking on the internet to check my facts, but can't find anything. I really do seem to remember them having a Coronet. Maybe they rebadged it as a Belvedere for a single race or something. I seem to also remember them disguising a '70 Cuda as a '71 for a race or two.
  21. Yes, it is reusable. You can leave it in the tub or you can run the used stuff through a paint strainer and put it back in the original container.
  22. These are the models that I have finished in 2016 after returning back to the hobby after taking several decades off. I have more patience now and my model building skills continue to improve (slowly). I have learned an awful lot from this forum and am glad I found it. Have made many model building friends, even though I have met very few of them in person. Looking forward to 2107! AMT 1941 Plymouth Tamiya Mitsubishi GTO Tamiya Porsche 959 Monogram 1970 Superbird Monogram 1969 Dodge Super Bee AMT 1971 Dodge Charger - I was home sick and highly medicated when I built this one. Nothing fit well and I repainted the body 4 times after messing up the black in the door gills. Finally just left them white. This one will be displayed on a back shelf.
