Congratulations Ray on seeing this build through to the end. It will certainly become the centerpiece of your collection I am sure. Please don't be a stranger to the congregation here. Gary

I don't have many MOPARs so Geno's Hachette Dodge Charger is a nice addition. The jars? Same era as the models. ?

Loving the B/W photos and the subjects. Thank you for sharing them.

Gramps46 replied to Jim B's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Your 917 looks pretty darn good despite the fit problems. What did you paint the fan with? Looks spot on. -
Well done Ray. Looking forward to seeing it under glass.

Thanks David, your plan makes sense. -
A mid engined 3 seater huh? Very novel in my experience. Appreciate the enlightenment and the cutaway drawing is very helpful.

Not an Iso A3/C

What are you going to use for the chassis? -
What an impressive model and thanks for the history.

Your builds are awesome. I have been a devotee of the 1/24 hard slot bodies for decades now but use them to build static models, about twenty so far.

Winners of 24 Hours of Le Mans in Scale
Gramps46 replied to Gramps46's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
This is a new book about the Le Mans 24 Heures race and covers all years 1923 - 2022 with cars, drivers, and interesting antidotes. But only a few pictures, cost me $25 in paperback on Amazon and I recommend it if you are a Le Mans fan. -
Yours is the first one I have seen built up and itis indeed impressive.
