  1. Great job blending the different styling designs together. I like the crew cab design.
  2. That looks real nice.
  3. The logging truck would fit perfectly with the finish on the truck. The logs can be found in any yard with a tree in it.
  4. That's why I laid back a few when ever I saw them on sale. I really like this kit and even converted the rear Barn Doors to a Tail Gate style on my last build. Just like it better that way.
  5. I like the design on the first one, the yellow bodied Scout.
  6. Great looking conversion. I like that you kept it real with the Blue Flame and 3 on the tree. Ford offered the Ranchero but this would have been a far more practical car in reality.
  7. Great looking tribute to "Million Dollar Bill". Very clean and well detailed looking build as always. For many of us NASCAR just seemed to no longer be as interesting as it used to be after Dale died.
  8. Great looking Low Rider. You have a lot of good looking paint treatments going on. Did you alter the roof line on this ? Just seems lower in the C pillar area to me.
  9. Great looking 3 window. I like the color and the finish looks very smooth. Would like to see the interior. The chassis looks good as well.

    '49 Merc

Beautiful paint work, you can even see the reflections on the door.
  11. Maybe a small piece of sheet plastic cut to size to fill the gap.
  12. I have used your method on small trim items and the lettering in a tail gate or two. This has worked well for me it will be interesting to see how this works on a large body trim part,
  13. In one way you can understand a company promoting their product in a way that they feel appeals to their customer base. The problem, and there are many, with this is they are also promoting very dangerous driving that we see often happening on our streets today not to mention the complete disrespect of rules and basic safety for others. Now to do this in front of and around a National Heritage Site even after they had been told not to ? They at least asked first, but they were told NO ! I wonder what part of NO they didn't understand. I wouldn't blame the Ukraine if came down hard on the small of their backs so to speak. Unacceptable conduct on the part of the people in charge of this filming and they should be held accountable and even made an example of in hopes that no one else will think this is acceptable.
  14. There was a time when Pontiac could very well have built this.
  15. Very realistic finishes on this build. As Brian suggested you might look for a trailer to represent something used in off road conditions.
  16. Not sure if the car on the magazine cover and the '63 Corvette that he converted into a race car are one in the same, but he did campaign an A/Gas '63 Corvette in his signature Candy Red about that time. Great looking '61 Corvette and Willys.
  17. My wife disagrees with me automatically, even when she knows I'm right. This seems to be an automatic female response and then they let your win the argument to make you feel better about your self. Good thing I love her because she really knows how to push my buttons.
  18. Looking at the ladies back a thought came to mind. Is she facing South or North when the picture was taken ?
  19. It wouldn't break my heart if R2 offered a 6 cylinder if for no other reason than to be used on other projects. I think most of use would have a small block or three in a parts box somewhere.
  20. Been enjoying watching all of the body mods you have done. I have wanted to do some flairs only on a smaller scale than what you're doing here, but getting a lot of great ideas from you.
  21. Always liked the look of the "Sling Shot" style.
  22. I like your ideas on this , and having owned a '69 Camaro for a total of 18 years in the past I have a great interest in them. I like the slight rack of the stance and I know this is only plastic, but if you were to go any lower you would need to either narrow the track of the tires to fit under the body or flare the wheel wells. Looking at your friends beautiful '68 Camaro, did he add a '69 front lower valance panel ?, you can see how Chevrolet designed the wheel well openings differently between the '67 & '68 Camaros from the '69 model.
  23. Great looking interior. Have you tried running the flocking material thru an old Tea Strainer before applying it ?
  24. Great pictures. Don't know how I missed them back in April. I like the way you composed many of the pictures centering on some of the main styling features of the subject. Many beautiful looking cars and trucks at the show.
  25. I got a '51 Chrysler from a family friend many eons ago. He had bought it new and I was needing a transportation car while going to city College and I had a hard time making lunch money. He sold it to me for a $1.00. Anyway it had the "powerful flathead 6" with the Fluid Drive. You could use the clutch and reave the engine in low and pop the clutch. Nothing could touch you across the cross walk stripes. After that you had better have packed a lunch since you were going for a slow ride.
