  1. I heard somewhere they were getting their BVDs in a bunch over nail clippers as well.
  2. Your ad for the taillights reminds me of a set I bought for my '57 Ford. Lee Plastics made some interesting looking lenses for most of the popular car lines and they were not expensive and good quality.

    '76 Pinto

Great looking Pinto. You mention this not being a very well detailed kit but with the way you painted and detailed this build it looks great.
  4. Looks great with a really bright yellow finish. The vinyl roof is very realistic looking and I also like how you detailed the engine bay.
  5. Beautiful looking Olds. I like the unusual color and great finish. Clean looking trim and the dash looks good also. Just the right stance.
  6. Beautiful looking T-Bird. I remember you talking about this color and how it looked even when the earlier pictures had it looking silver. As you started adding the trim and then the interior and now you can clearly see the shade of blue you had mentioned. Another great looking build for your display.
  7. Excellent paint finish.
  8. Again, I really like the paint here. I have been a long time user of the Tamiya paint products. I hope we get the new line soon since the finish looks even better.
  9. That's a really informative site.
  10. That's a beautiful looking car. I have always liked the BMW line but when ever I was in a financial position to get one I needed a different type of vehicle, usually an extra nice pickup. With the black colored grill it doesn't standout so much I also like the color combination. While it's hardly the same thing, the last car we got was a Charger to replace our '10 Charger, and it's also all white with the black grill and center bumper area.
  11. Perhaps a light semi-gloss or even a flat clear.
  12. Nice photo shop here. That's a face only an Orthodontist could appreciate .
  13. So you actually sent the Buick idea to your BMW Dealer ? Sounds like he has a sense of humor anyway. But I think you can see the "Family" resemblance between the two.
  14. I'm going into town tomorrow and I'll check HL to see if they have gotten any more in. Their 40 % off sale is moving a lot of kits for them right now.
  15. My prayers also for you both. They can do some amazing things now days.
  16. I'm going to build one like the Demo I had back then. The grill on the cover reminds me of something you would see on a Ford. As long as the stock grill is there I'm good on this.
  17. Ya the '56 was the ugly middle sister of the tri 5s to many people. I still think it's the best of the three models. Don't get me wrong, I like the '55 and the '57 just fine but for me the '56 is the best of them all. I have never built a low ridder '56 and only a few others. The big hoops will not be used but some nice chrome reverse wheel with pin wall whites . There will be some metal flake and pearl as well.
  18. I'll be getting a couple of the reissued '56 Chevrolet 210s because that is one of my personal favorite Chey's. I have an idea or two for the '76 Chevy G Van. I had a few for Demo's when I worked at a Chevy dealer at that time. The VW Van looks interesting especially being a new tool.
  19. After all that it turned out great. I way wondering about the color since it is very bright. Nail polish can be had in colors that happen no ware else.
  20. Great looking Chevelle. I have been trying to find one of these to build but they seem to go fast around here.
  21. Beautiful looking Z car. Your hard work on the paint looks great and all the trim is very clean looking.

    53 Chevy

Nice looking little Chevy. The finish looks like a car that has had to spend its life out in the elements in stead of a garage.
  23. I hadn't seen this build before now. Have you sealed the body paint yet ? I remember years ago using this paint but for a base for a candy color. This makes a great candy apple red base coat.
  24. Very clean looking build. I like that you went with an unusual color also.
  25. Someone should hold up a picture of a '49 - '53 Buick and you'll see where BMW got its inspiration for the "New Design" of their grill.
