  1. Cool concept and nice kit for a snap.
  2. Working on a Freightliner SD/DD build. This is only my second truck build, The Revell snap being the first. Well, being a car builder, the seams in the body did not cut it, I HAD ti fill them. Well, was lead to the resin rivet decals by another member to replace lost detail. Here is my question: What scale rivets will most closely match the existing rivets on the cab? I did not remove all rivets and just want to "replace ones I sanded. Anyone have pictures of a build with the rivets? Thank you in advance
  3. I have used shimmer and it works just fine. Do not wet sand it though. Removes color from the flake. This KW is purple shimmer.
  4. The Chassis is decent, the floor is bad. I ended up cutting the rear (under the rear seat) out of mine and raising it to make space for the mufflers so they did not hang down. Revell has the entire thing flat from cowl to rear end, it is not. As for the body, I will not even go there, I do not feel like typing that much.
  5. Ohhh... the Torino as a base would be horrid.... Just my opinion tho
  6. The kit engine is really nice.
  7. Looking great. I would suggest a 351 from any of the Revell/Monogram Nascar Thunderbird/Taurus kits. I would add a stack type injection though. Another great choice would be the engine from the Revell Super Stallion
  8. Can we add the AMT Wild Hoss Bronco?
  9. Looks Great!!!! Doing the same kit the same way!! Cab has been a challenge filling the seams.
  10. Looks great!!! I am working on this kit here and there. My first glue kit after my snap Revell Kenworth is done. After a little reading, I am a bit intimidated now... LOL
  11. It will never ever happen, but..............
  12. Let's hope he is running coil packs
  13. Got all the frame, missing some vent window pieces though. something looks missing on the grill tho. Everything else seems present. This hubcap?
  14. A friend found these in his barn and gave them to me.
  15. Looks great!!!!
  16. Thank you so much..... answers my question clearly. Now I need an R model to go with my DM
  17. Was not sure where to ask this, but what is the kit differences between the Mack DM600 and the R685ST? Thx
  18. That poor Nova is constantly being worked on
  19. Looking really nice. As a kid I always walked past this kit, but now, I wish I had one in the stash. Great job on the wood.
  20. Sand it smooth, add a strip of thin styrene, and maybe make a decal from this.... Cool build, I too would like to see this kit again, but we all know it's fate.
