  1. If you need your paint soon, do not order from Hobbylinc! I placed an order for the first time two weeks ago. Just checked the status again and it still hasn't been shipped! It's projected to leave the warehouse 1/5. Never again! I would cancel. But, the card has already been charged. I'm going back to ebay where it takes 2-3 days to get my order. Not 2-3 weeks!
  2. Didn't notice that on mine. Can you post a photo and explain? Something else I did notice on mine is the recess for the license plate on the front bumper is way too deep.
  3. The difference between the '65 and '66 is the grilles. Stylesides are the wide beds. Flaresides are narrow with fenders on the outside. Don't know about the fit and warp as I haven't bought one and won't.
  4. Great lineup Craig! I still dig the '70 1/2 Camaro the best! You killed it with that build!
  5. You had a great year Nigel! Lots of different and interesting models! All are well built and clean with a great style to them! Nice work!
  6. With models like those Bob, you have no reason to feel intimidated in the least! Love the Baja Bandito and the little '63 Fairlane! Nice work on all of them!

Great work on all of them! That blue Ferrari really does it for me! The others are really nice. But, there's something about the way that one presents itself.

Thanx to everyone for all of the great comments! I appreciate it! It's always interesting to see other's picks in these type of threads. Seems a lot of people like the little Falcon and it's the most simple model in the bunch.
  9. Nice work Phil! I remember the '48! That thing is so deceptively cool!
  10. Quality takes time. There's no short cuts to models built at this level of detail.
  11. They're all nice models Alan! But, that '30 Model A is so exceptionally nice! One of the best!
  12. Nice looking Monte Carlo! The color really suits it well!
  13. Nice models Tony! That Olds is especially nice!
  14. How about the differentials from the AMT/MPC '84 GMC? I built that kit several years ago. But, can't recall them exactly. I do know they're not open like the Monogram pieces.
  15. It turned out really nice Greg! I really like all of the little details you added like the partially rolled down door glass, vent windows propped open and the gas neck. Great idea for the spare tire mount! The modern clip has a natural look to it. Nice work!
  16. A great group of models Mike! I really like the '69 Impala and '68 Galaxie! I have a '69 Impala convertible that I plan on adding the roof from a '70. I may get to it this year. Nice work!

Thanx Dennis! I never would've thought that a hard core old school hot rodder like you would like a Beretta! I plan on doing another FWD sometime soon.
  18. Very cool hot rods Dennis! Your style shines through on all of them! I love the blue Model A five window!
  19. Those are great looking models Pete! I really like the panel truck and the T-Bolt! I'd say you had a great year!

Thanx Bill! The wheels are from the Revell '62 Corvette.

    My 2020

Thanx Alan and thanx for posting that photo of a full scale! I almost did mine similar. But, I wanted the rear fenders from the car and no running boards. That looks like a coupe to the rear of the doors? That's the best full scale I've seen with the car's front end. I saw another one with the patina look. But, it had what looked like a '37 bed and fenders behind it.
  22. This is an extreme example. But, it was the car that made me look past what I didn’t like and appreciate what I did. Love it or hate it, one has to appreciate what it took to weld all those different panels together. I also appreciate how the builder did it his way with no regard to how it would be accepted or hated. It was the loose inspiration for this build where every modification or accessory was something I didn't like. It's still one of my favorite models.
  23. Bernard, you sure mixed it up this year! A Ferrari and a Lotus?! To me, your '32 hiboy is the cream of the crop. Your effort on that build clearly shows. Everything is so clean and neat. Like Dennis, you have all the right parts in all the right places. Something few manage to accomplish.
  24. They're all cool looking models Jay! I wish I had your talent for weathering! Never overdone. Always just right!
  25. Something to remember also is that it's those tough kits that will make you a better builder. You will learn patience, perseverance, problem solving and new curse words along the way. But, when you stick it on the shelf, you'll have more pride in it than an easy kit. I'll take a tough kit with fit issues and an accurate body over an easy kit with lousy proportions any day.
