  1. I was not sure what I would see when I opened this post. An extremely creative and well executed idea.
  2. Two very creative conversions assuming the convertible is also a conversion. The full scale convertibles were produced by coachbuilder Henri Chapron
  3. Another one of your great back stories. Porsche Speedster racecars have always been s favorite of mine. I have had a Fujimi kit in my stash for many years and have wanted to build a James Dean replica which is pictured in the very interesting web link you provided..
  4. Great looking Deuce 3-W. I have one myself on the workbench. Always a nice kit to work with.
  5. Great Looking model. I really like all eras of the Trans-Am series. Would be very interesting to see an evolutions of Trans Am Camaros over the last 50+ years. It seems like after a number of lack lustre seasons, the series is really doing well again.
  6. This is the best collection of Chaparral cars I have seen since the 2005 Monterey Historics. Add my vote for separate posts for each model.
  7. One of the all time best looking F1 cars and your build certainly does it justice.
  8. Gorgeous model of a very attractive car from what appears to be a very good kit
  9. Nice conversion. Have plans to do the same someday. While travelling in Cuba I stopped to look at a very well preserved Imperial beside the highway. The owner asked if I had any spark plugs !!
  10. Excellent job. Love the frozen slush. I am sure it will be a favorite at GSL.
  11. You certainly did this kit justice, Very nicely done.
  12. Gorgeous model. Very well built.
  13. What a cool piece of model car history. The chassis is very well preserved and I even like the shoe box it came in.
  14. Did not mean to double post to back up my previous post, it just happened !!
  15. With this incredible model you may have set the record for the most replies in one day !! Congratulations
  16. Great job Ismael. Now that you have built a mid engine race car you will be ready for the Corvette C8R !!
  17. Super well done in all respects. The left off emblems has a nice subtle affect.
  18. I have got the interior pretty much completed. Here is a comparison of the results to the real car. Seats were modified from Revell 5-W Coupe and the 3-W side/door panels were scribed with a roll & pleat design. Floor mats were added. The shifter is from the 5-W with knob replaced with a pinhead ball. Dash incorporates the gauge panel from the Revell Willys Street Rod with an extra gauge and glove box door added. The steering wheel is from the AMT ’71 Corvette with the spokes filled. The Deuces do not have a gas panel so one was installed. I used Testor’s Dark Red enamel topped with Dull Coat and does not look as bright in reality.
  19. Very sharp Bimmer.
  20. Well built.
  21. I have really enjoyed seeing your impressive redos of Russian promo models. Were these models readily available and about how much did they cost in terms of $'s or Euros.
  22. T Thanks guys - I hope to post an update soon. I am going to first complete the interior and then the rolling chassis. Stay tuned.

  24. Far out man. I am not sure I understand it but I can see this is very well executed.
