    Good to see a road version of the M1 being built. Its an iconic car. I think Lamborghini were involved with the design. I've got an Esci version of the M1, and had always assumed the Airfix kit was the same tooling, but its totally different. Good start with this project. I think it will make a beautiful curbside.

    Lets hope Meng do a nicer 427 engine than the Trumpeter one. I started putting the Trumpeter engine together and just lost heart with the kit when I realised how off the engine detail was.

    Looks great to me! It is a complex kit to put together, but worth the hard work.

    Well done on a beautiful build. I do love Tamiya kits for all the reasons listed above. Your Boxster LS1 conversion at work sounds interesting.

    This is an amazing project. I just read through the build thread on Depronized. Surely 3d printing is the future of this hobby. With higher resolution, I'd love to see 1/24 and 1/25 become feasible. Love to see more progress on the Koenigsegg.

    I just read through this entire thread, and now my head hurts! So many great ideas to take in. I love the use of magnets and the 3D printed parts. This is an epic build. Keep up the amazing work. I'll be watching with interest.

    This is simply stunning! Great use of colours, with just the right amount of sheen and weathering. I'm guessing those wipers and the Riviera GS script on the side are photo-etched parts? Great photography too. Looks like a 1:1 car in some of those pics.

    Great work so far. I love the detail around the shift mechanism. @italianhorses thathats a great tutorial on PE. I'll be taking away some of those tips.
