  1. That's a great looking fleet there. If these 1/32 trucks hit the shelves again I'll have to pick up a couple.
  2. Looks great. You're right, these Revell snap trucks do build up well.
  3. I would be extremely pleased with that build too. Nice smooth paint, beautiful work work all around. I really like that first pic with the sun shining through the haze. Looks like the sky over Denver this morning.
  4. Turned out great. I have 3 of these in my pile, hoping to get started on one soon.
  5. Came out nice. That is some good foil work there.
  6. Very nice. I actually saw a dune buggy flying down the road yesterday. I have a couple of these in the pile that I'll get around to one of these days, or years.....
  7. You did that kit justice. Beautiful work there.
  8. That turned out nice. I might have to pick one of these up.
  9. Beautiful work there. This needs to be photographed outside.
  10. Looks good all nice and dirty. I have one of these in the pile. I'll get to it one of these days, or maybe years.
  11. I would be happy with that build. Can't go wrong with silver and blue. Nice job all around.
  12. That's thinking outside the box. Great job.
  13. That came out great. I have always found dark colors easier to paint whether on a model or 1:1. With darker colors it's easier to see the shine come up than with lighter colors.
  14. Great looking workhorse there.
  15. I stopped at the nearest Hobby Lobby today, I always go straight back to the clearance corner. Found a couple cans of Model Master sublime lacquer then saw this paint rack for only $15. Couldn't leave it behind for that cheap. It's in good shape, just needs a good cleaning. I was almost shocked that was no bubble gum stuck to the bottom of the shelves. A good find, just gotta make room for it. Had some spendin' money so went to Hobby town and picked up a couple kits and some tires. I noticed they were down to only one of that 400F. Been wanting it for a while so figured I better get it while I can. Hope it's a good kit. The truck just caught my attention so just picked it up for something different. I looked inside the box and did not realize how small those parts are. Should be an interesting build.
  16. I stopped in my local Hobbytown Friday, they had the Revell paint stocked up in a shiny new rack. I picked up a couple tins and a can of Steel acrylic spray bomb. I'll give it the spoon test next time I get out the airbrush. I wonder if it's relabeled Humbrol paint. Can't wait to try it.
  17. Maybe you could try scotch-bright scuffing pads like they use on 1:1 cars. It should knock the nubs off the rivets without grinding them away. Just a thought.
  18. You could contact Scalefinishes, they would know if its metallic. The Lincoln Mark III was the best looking of all the Marks, its my favorite anyway. Too bad this was never kitted.
  19. That's in great shape especially for a midwest car. I had an 86 G.M several years back, my sister found it at a garage sale, they were giving it away. The motor was blown, but car was in great shape otherwise, except the vinyl top looked like alligator skin. So a used motor and new top and I had a nice cruiser.
  20. Very nice. This is the best looking F250 conversion I have seen here, you got the front axle centered in the wheel opening. Makes a big difference. Weathering looks nice. You might want to get a bungee cord over that battery so it won't end up in the fan?
  21. Looks great. I have one of these in the pile, gonna build it one of these days, or maybe years....
  22. Too cool. I never woulda thought of building one of these. Very unique subject, I remember seeing these searchlights all over back in the 60s and 70s. Superb job all around.
  23. Yep. Bad weekend around Denver. The view out my back door. There is a patio somewhere there. I mounted a yardstick on the picnic table yesterday. Gonna take this a bit to melt.
  24. That looks nice. Maybe you could fill it with lead and make it weigh a scale 500 pounds haha. They were unreal heavy.
  25. I'm with you on the Camaro tail lights. And the wagon wheels/no profile tires on a muscle car don't make it. Guess I'm old school not to mention just plain gettin' old.
