  1. We have several of their works on one of your Pandora play lists.
  2. If your searching for options on the back pain you might try Balm of Gilead. Like you I suffer back pain after doing certain jobs around the yard and such. I first discovered this while on vacation in Northern Michigan in Travers City. The store has a web site www.creationphram.com. This is an Herbal Salve and works immediately on sore joints and musicales.
  3. Looks great and especially the chassis detailing.
  4. The first thing I noticed was the paint work, both the color and the finish. I like your idea for the parking and tail lights. Were the seats from the kit or something else ?
  5. Great looking build. I like that you made it into a Mercury.
  6. Thanks for sharing. Do you still have any of these ?
  7. Great looking group of builds. Camaros are special to me and I really like yours. The Fairlane is very cleanly built and looks good in the colors you used. I like the #12 with a couple of "donuts" on the side. The modified Pinto looks like it's ready to go.
  8. Beautiful looking build. Very striking color. Your body work looks great the way it all flows together and works well with the original body lines.

    Meyers Manx

Very well built. The Glitter paint looks just like the way the original Fiberglass was done. Nice rear Paddle Sand Tires. Nice color combination.
  10. Looks great. Best way to add cu. in. to an engine is to add two more cylinders, right ?
  11. This looks great. I'm sure you have upset many in the MB community but they'll just have to get over it. The SBC is sort of the default engine and it looks at home here. I also like the Bumper less smooth look with a great paint job. The Wheels also look perfect on this build.
  12. I look forward to another one of your paint creations. The finish on the White look great.
  13. I have been enjoying your Fairlane build. The interior and exterior colors look great together. I had a neighbor / CHP Officer that had one back in the day. The little 271 hp 289 cu in 4 speed car was his daily driver. You could hear the solid lifters as he cruised down the block after work.
  14. The wood colors you mentioned are considered the norm. Old Mr. Ford had his own forest in upper parts of Michigan and his own crews harvesting the trees. I remember seeing some of the Ford wagons from this era after they had been on the road for many years and were just old cars at the time and the wood was stained much like you have done. Was that the way they were built ? Or did the owners in later years sand and restaind them and reverse the stain colors ? Either way I like how it looks.
  15. The plastic issue you describe sounds like a no go for me. I really was thinking I would like to build one of these. I'll wait and see how your turns out.
  16. Looks as if someone spliced a portion of a Falcon wagon into the center of the bed and cab. The back seat looks as if it came from a Falcon wagon and they used the rear bulkhead of the Ranchero in the bed.
  17. Beautiful looking build. I also followed your build on this one and really liked the way you created the wood appearance inside and out. Nice to see a truly stock finish once in a while.

Beautiful looking paint work. I remember that episode of Wheeler Dealer, Your paint detailing under hood and chassis all looks correct.
  19. I'm sure you were there to coach and maybe even give a little advice, but for a 10 and 12 year old's they really look good. As others have mentioned they should be preserved just as is. That Surf Board, is that sort of souvenir still around ? That would be cool on a Surf Wagon build today.
  20. The indoor pictures seem to show the green under color more than the outside pictures. The build its self looks very clean and the trim is well done also. Nicely detailed painting of the chassis and the engine. This is a great addition to your Camaro family.
  21. These are pretty impressive for someone's first try. Another way to get additional inspiration and building tips would be to check the Tips, Tricks, Tutorials section on the forum. Many builders have posted information on many different aspects of model building. I have checked there at times when I'm having a problem with something I'm working on.
  22. The Ferrari engine is definitely a "dare to be different" power plant. I like the angle chopped top and the way you altered the forward portion of the frame looks smoother than the usual Z sectioning. The dash looks good with the Ferrari instruments centered.
  23. By Continental Roof do you mean the clear roof ? I remember seeing this style on the major Kustoms of the day and it would allow a good display of the interior. No idea just how far your wanting to go, but the AMT '57 Chevy kit used to have some interesting front and rear treatments, that should fit, as an option. The AMT '55 Chevrolet "Street Machine" kit has some tail light and bumper options also. The Monogram '55 Chevy 2in1 Hardtop has some similar options plus lowered suspension option.
  24. Thanks. I hope they all made it.
  25. Plastruct offers many different sizes of material that could be changed just a little to make what you're after. Find the material in the general size, width and thickness, that you want. The part will have 90 degree edges that you can sand to the shape you're after.
