  1. The only problem with some of these cars is...you can’t un-see them!
  2. Great job on those coil overs! They look real.
  3. If you get an e-mail with the title Knock Knock.....Don’t open it !! It a Jehovah Witness working from home!
  4. I made a radiator mount on the backside of the grill from styrene stock. The Commando radiator was just a little too wide to fit so I made a custom “aluminum “ one using parts from a ‘57 Chevy and mounted it on pins. I added a pusher fan that I cast from resin and sanded down till all the slots were opened up. I also cut off the two Revell grill mounts and made one central one like the 1:1’s have.
  5. Funny, the panel wagon just popped into memory as I was reading this thread. I remember that I had painted it red, white and blue, but didn’t know what make it was...so I googled “Revell Panel Wagon” and came up with this pic!? And that’s what it was!
  6. I made a resin copy of an electric fan the other day and today I sanded it down and opened up the slots. Then I mounted it to a custom built aluminum, err...plaluminum radiator.?
  7. Looks real nice there Wayne!
  8. This was the TV version. It went together pretty good.
  9. I would love to have the models I built as a kid, or even photos. My parents never had a camera. My older sister who no longer lived in our town did ( I remember it took flash bulbs!) and that is likely who took the few pictures of the family back then. Later she got one that took flash cubes...remember those? My models certainly didn’t merit photos! I can only remember the Horn Toad kit, a Pinto drag car, a Chevelle that I turned into a truck, and a ‘53 Chevy panel wagon. I know I did more but memory fails me.
  10. Keeps you from getting fixated and frustrated right? I only have 3 actively on the go. I would put together a Ferraralotogini if I had that many on the go because I couldn’t remember what parts go with what!?
  11. Yes, OoMoo 25. Very easy stuff to work with.

Wow that’s bright! Fantastically detailed too...really well done!
  13. I like what you’ve done with this! I have a Revell ‘56 that I started and got disgusted with. I just may (try to) copy some of your mods just for the practice. Looking fine...carry on!?
  14. Smooth-On, Smooth Cast 305. Seven minute pot life and 30 min. cure time. I am pleased with the results since I don’t have a vacuum chamber or pressure pot!? There were a few bubbles, but I stirred most of them out with a toothpick after pouring it in the mold. It is clear until it starts to set. I did about 10 rims plus all that with 2 oz. of resin and still had some leftover. The rally rims came out beautiful!?
  15. I’m not up on my Fords, but this kit has a decent 700R4. I hacked it off the engine which wasn’t so good! 1/24th though.
  16. Did my first castings at home. They turned out pretty good I think.
  17. Not much left of the roof!? It has too much overhang on the rear to look neat, hence the bobbing idea. Alternatively, the diff and wheelwells could be moved rearward?
  18. I could even look pretty good if the rear was bobbed about a foot or foot and a half.?
  19. Whadda you think? Heading to the wrecking yard or being resurrected?
  20. Thanks. That looks like a cool model. Too bad all I have is the frame.☹️ It was in with a kit I bought at a flea market.
  21. Anyone know what this could be from? I know that’s a stupid question on this board....of coarse someone will! ? Thanks, Greg.
  22. Looks good. That clear coat sure makes a difference. I love your body dolly there.
  23. Very nice! I like the way the hub caps, trim rings and valve covers are done with matching paint. What paint did you use on the seat?
  24. I re-did the rear driveshaft for my Jeepster.
